New Gen Of Titans

Lian's Daddy Issues

The team were in the middle of battle. With a villain, who calls herself Scarlet Owl. She has the power of controlling animals and telekinesis. And according to Jai's computer skills she's a psychopath who is mad at the world for mistreating animals. Right now she had Robin and Batgirl pinned againest the wall, destroying Green Lantern telepathically, and Impulse, and Speedy were being attacked by  a tiger. Chris charged at the nut-job, sending her flying and Damian and Batgirl to fall free. 

Robin and Batgirl raced to help Impulse and Speedy, and Super boy helped GL. But Scarlet Owl was already on her feet by this time. Using her mind she threw a crate on top of Batgirl, Impulse, and Robin, knocking them off their feet. She then threw Super Boy threw the window. While GL was trying to recover, Speedy pulled out her bow and arrow. She shot the arrow and it landed at the villain's  feet. 

She laughed "You missed!" Speedy smirked "Did I?" Scarlet Owl looked down and gas exploded from the red arrow. She gasped and covered her mouth. Seeking one last chance at getting the team's leader, the villain sent the tiger charging at the young hero. Unable to move fast enough, Lian was pounced on. She yelled out in horror, as the tiger clawed at her face and arms. Before they knew it, both Lian and Scarlet Owl were unconscious.

 Roy Harper paced up and down in the Justice League Hospital (Paid for by Batman (;) Batman, Wonder Women and Superman walked in. Superman put his hand on Roy's shoulder, but he shrugged it off. "How is she?" "Cyborg's still with her. Calm down Roy" Batman replied. Roy became angry, as he yelled "How can I 'relax' when my daughter was '2£$%&") mauled by a bear?! Oh but I can expect the guy who went through five Robin's to understand?" 

The conversation was drawn closed as Cyborg came out of the hospital room doors. Roy rushed up to him. "You can go in. She's fine now. But has a sprained ankle and her collar bone is fractured, along with some other minor injures" And with that Roy raced into see his 'little' girl (She's 14) Roy looked with blurry eyes at his daughter. Her leg was in a cast, and pulled up. Her face was covered in scars. Her clothes looked tattered to hell. And as she was sleeping she barley looked alive. Roy hated seeing his little girl like this. 

After a few days Lian was growing better. And it was then that the worried father decided to talk to her. "Lian hun, I think it's time you hang up the cape" Lian dropped her spoon into the bowl off soup and looked up at her father. "What're you saying?"  "I'm saying maybe it's time to be a regular kid" "No" Plain and simple. Lian got up and grabbed her crutches. She tried to get up with them but winced in pain, he hated that his daughter was so stubborn."You did what I do at my age" "Yeah but I was a little lost boy. Lian your smart. You know what you want in life"There was a pause "Honey I'm not asking you if you want to. I'm telling you. What would have happened if you hadn't have woken up?" "But I did!" 

Roy was mad now "I lost you when you were five. I'm not losing you again!" Lian glared at him. "That wasn't my fault. That was yours" Ouch, that stung. A few weeks later Lian was still in crutches and living in her father's apartment with his girlfriend. But Lian refused to talk to her 'old man' The weeks turned into months and even a year. Lian was healed, but was no longer a Titan. The last person to visit her was he best friend Irey, who told her that the team split up. The last few words the two besties ever spoke to each other was "Irey, are you mad?" Irey bowed her head "No. Lian, I'm just disappointed" That was seven years ago. And Lian hasn't seen a team mate since. 

She had heard after Dick Grayson's death Damian took over the Batman legacy, but died in a fight with Joker Jr. Irey had heard the news. She was Kid Flash, she was devastated that she couldn't concentrate in  battle and was lost in another universe. Milagro wanted to be a great Green Lantern so left earth to get training from a martian on Mars. Nell gave up the cape a long time ago, and is now  at Uni. Colin went missing a long time ago. And Chris is Superman. But the worst, in Lian's opinion is Jai. 

Jai was working for NASA (Who didn't see that coming? The boy is a genius!) But what twisted Lian's stomach was he was happily married, with three kids. Yeah, and the worst thing? They we're adorable. He named one with a load of freckles, Iris West lll (After his great aunt and his sister) Another one he named Bart... And the last made her heart shatter into a million tiny pieces. Her name was Grace Willow (Lian's name meant Graceful willow) Lian was in love with Jai, but he was with someone else. 

And here was Lian. An alcoholic, just like her father had been at her age. Wasting her life away. But after everything. Lian couldn't help ask "What if?"

Seven Years in the future, When Lian didn't leave the team  

The team was now the Justice League. Lead by Damian who was now Batman and Chris who is Superman. The team was now  stronger than ever. Any evil who dared to mess with them was toast. Irey and Damian were happily married, Colin had finally gotten the courage to ask Milagro out, and   Lian was engaged to Jai. Yes life couldn't get any better. They were all sitting around a table discussing business.

"Do you think the Brain and Brother Hood of evil are planning something?" Batman raised a masked eyebrow. 

"Maybe" Superman put on a thoughtful face. 

"If they are I can figure it out" Jai added. 

"This is boring, we're getting no where. And Colin and I have a date" Green Lantern said as Abuse blushed.

"Yeah I'm with Milagro. Let's call it a night" Batgirl agreed tiredly. 

In the blink of an eye, Flash was behind Batman's chair and in another flash, she was  then in sitting on his lap. 

"I agree. Let's go Boy Blunder" Flash smirked. 

Jai just turned to Lian "Do they have to come to our wedding?"
