No More Team

It had been a day and a half since the fight. And in Gotham's hospital all of the heroes were getting bandaged up. Nell had gotten a black eye, and Milagro got a broken finger. Damian had a twisted ankle. They were all sitting in the waiting room. They had been in to see Chris, who was fine. While the Justice League left to discuss what happened. Except Wally West, Flash. He was sitting with the Titans waiting for his daughter to wake up. 

It was then that a doctor came in and took Wally away to see her. Batman walked around and into the room, he called his son over and they walked off to have a bit of privacy. "Damian what happened out there was a-" "Mistake, I know. But it was our first serious villain, we'll do better next time" 

Batman stared down at his son "There won't be a next time" Damian went wide-eyed at his father "You can't do that!" He protested "The Justice League and I think it would be best-" "And what do you know?!" "People got hurt Robin" He was furious now, "Don't you think I know that?! Don't you think I would have changed that. Look, we made a mistake. Don't act like you haven't either. I neglected my leader role. And.... And I would like to hand over leadership to Lian" 

This time Batman was the one going wide eyed "Are you sure?" Damian gave his father a nod. "You can come back to Gotham and be my Rob- "No I didn't say I was leaving. I said I was giving up being the leader. But this is still my team and i'm not abandoning them" And the fifth Robin walked off. That was when Nightwing walked up to Batman and smirked as they both watched the Boy Wonder return to his friends. 

"He's just like you Bruce.... Best mistake you ever made" And with that he joined his younger brother. Bruce just smiled "Yeah..."
