Sacrifices The World Needs

I start my second day off school tomorrow and am doing my GCSES. So I will update every two days. Thanks to everyone who's been reading! All together it's almost got 194! I hope everyone enjoys reading.

The team met the small group of heroes in the middle of the town and they all hid in an abandoned house. "Look at us. Hiding here like a bunch off losers!" Jason complained. "It's like hell out there!" Bart added. "What'll we do?!" Everyone looked around for answers. "We take them out" Everyone turned to the boy wonder. "And how are we going to do that genius?" Wonder Girl asked. "Actually it's not impossible" Everyone now turned to Jai. "Can you take them out?" Lian asked. Jai opened his laptop and started typing as he explained to his fellow heroes. "If we get to where the gate is in city hall I could connect my laptop and give the thing a virus. Wiping out any demons" "Then that's what we'll do. Lian take the Titans to the Bat-cave and get weapons. We'll cover you guys"

The team got up and started to leave. Damian turned to his 'brother' and gave a small smile. "Thanks... Jason" Jason smiled back. The team raced outside. The clouds and sky were red. Thunder boomed from the sky. Red-demon-type-creates tore down buildings and flew high. The team had to fight them off as they tried to make it to the sewers. They would use it as a short cut. Damian was almost to the entrance, but a demon flew above his head and was about to take him out. Jason jumped in front of the ugly creature. "Don't touch my brother you mother *******" Jason shot the demon, but before the demon died he shot Jason with an unknown slime substance. "Todd!" Damian held Jason's dying body as he looked into  Damian's eyes. "Alright you little Demon my sacrifice better not have been in vain. I want you to save the world"

By this time the team had already opened the top of the entrance and were down there. Lian grabbed Damian and dragged him down. They were all down the sewer and catching their breaths. "We are way in over our heads!" Milagro cried. "Oh my God!" Colin tried to calm down Nell, who was having a panic attack. "We need to go. Now!" Every one journeyed on. Damian turned to Iris. "Aren't you happy? We're going to the Bat-cave again?" Irey looked at him. "We might not survive this Damian" Damian nodded. For once he admired how heroic she was. After a few hours they made it to the Bat-cave. Tim Drake was typing away at the computer. "Drake!" 

Tim turned to Damian. "Damian. Thank God your OK!" Tim walked over and hugged Damian. "I have all the equipment out. Take everything. And I have a map" The team crowded a table full off weapons and began to take them. "How're the others doing?" Chris asked. "T-They all died.." "Then this plan better work" Lian added. "I can do it. Just get me in" Jai answered. "Where's Brown?" Tim began to cry. "She's gone Damian. Bruce, Dick, Jason, Cass, Steph.. All gone" Damian looked at his brother. "You-your coming with us aren't you?" Tim gave them a sad smile. "No. This is your mission" Everyone turned to him. "Are you crazy?! If you stay here you'll die!" Tim still had the sad smile on his face. "I know. I have nothing left to live for... My stories over. But yours- All off yours is just beginning"

The Titans flew their ship to city hall. They began to fight. Before they went to the gates, they needed to get the key away from the demons. So they were fighting the evil monsters to get into a storage unit, where they keep it. That's when Nell was killed. Milagro went into a rage and shot every monster in sight. They had gotten to the key, but another batch off aliens had gotten to them and this time.. They took out Chris. They all made it into the ship. The team now only having six members. Milagro broke down crying. "What'll we do now?" "Destroy the key" Lian answered. "I'll do it" Colin offered. He turned into his abuse form and held the weirdly shaped key. He smashed the key but it also made him glow red and scream in pain, before falling down into dust. "Colin!" Damian yelled. No one could believe their eyes. "W-we need to go" Irey said as the others left the ship and went into city hall. 

They hid in a janitors closet. "OK call Tim" Damian pressed his finger to his com-link "Drake. Come in" Tim's voice was a muffled cough. "Y-yeah, I'm here. I know where you are. But I'm about to die. I don't have anything in me left" Damian's eyes began to water. "No. No, Drake you can't die on me!-" "Even though I didn't show it.. I love you" The line went dead as Damian yelled. "Drake!" The scream was loud and the demons heard it. The remaining members of the team all hid in the air vent as two demons looked in the room. Once they were gone, the team came out. "W-which way?" Jai asked. "We need to get up two stair cases" Lian led the team up the stairs, but a load of demons found them. Lian pulled out her bow and arrow and began to shot. "Go!" "What about you?" Jai asked. "I'll hold them off" "W aren't leaving you!" Lian smiled. "Of course you wouldn't. But this isn't about me" She nodded and Damian dragged Irey off as they all raced up another flight off stairs. 

Jai rushed to a computer and began to type. "Here goes more!" Milagro warned. The team began to fight as Jai continued to hack the system. He had finally done it. "Alright guys. It's done. Go" They all looked at him. "What are you doing?" "I'm going to hold them off" "No Jai. You won't be able to-" "I know. But I want to go out like this" Irey grabbed her brother. "We aren't letting you do this. I'm not! Jai your my twin! OK. I am not leaving you!" Jai smiled at his twin. "I know you won't but I want to be known for being my own person. And I know you love me Irey. So go and save the world" He turned to Damian. "Look after her for me" Damian nodded. Damian grabbed Irey and through her over his shoulder. He and Milagro began to run. Irey screamed as Jai tried to fight off a flock off demons. They entered a large room. "No! Jai! Let me out I-I need to save him!" Milagro held her hysterical friend. "Irey. He's gone!" Irey slid down into a slump and started to cry. 

Three aliens ran in. The team ran to a closing door, that was steel. Milagro slid under and next was Damian. There was a tiny gap left. But Irey stared down at her friends. "Bye" "Iris!" Damian demanded, but it was getting harder to see the speedster. "Just remember, that from the very beginning I've been in love with you Damian Wayne"And with that the steel door shut. "No! Dammit" The young boy bounded on the door. "It's no use" Both of them sat down. "I don't even want to save the world anymore" Damian eyes widened as he jumped in front of his companion. An arrow shot into his heart. Milagro began to cry as she held her friend. "Please. Damian don-don't leave me" Damian just looked at her. "Save the world" The young Robin passed away. 

Milagro closed her eyes and suddenly she felt woozy...

Damian had just woken up. He was lying on a table with wires all around him. He sat up and saw the room full off heroes. Everyone was alive and looking at him. He noticed Dick beside him and hugged him. "Grayson! Your alright!" Everyone seemed shocked at this. Damian looked around and saw Jason. He also hugged him, which scared everyone. "Where's Drake?" Tim came around the corner eating a sand which. Damian tackled the boy in a hug. And then Milagro awoke. "What happened?" The league explained how it was all just fake, and it was to test how the heroes would survive in that type of situation. And the team were never the same....

It's summer and the titans must all take a two month vacation.. Away from one another.
