Jealousy And Blue Are An Ugly Color

It had been two days since Colin had found out he had a sister. And Melissa has been staying with the Titans because their jets have broken down and she has no way to get home, so she's staying with them for a day or two until they get one fixed. So, every one was sitting awkwardly eating breakfast. "Are you enjoying your time in the tower?" Milagro asked. Melissa looked down into her cereal bowl and back up at Colin, who was sadly eating his cereal. "Um.. Yeah" "How about we give you a tour of the city?" Chris offered. "Sure. If Jai'll show me!" Lian's head snapped up and everyone turned to a blushing Jai. 

"I thought you liked Chris, no wait! I think you liked Damian?" Nell tried to figure out who the young girl had a crush on. Melissa shrugged. "I'm twelve. I'm not supposed to know who I like... And I like Jai now" Irey leaned over to an annoyed Lian and whispered. "And you said I was paranoid" Lian snapped her spoon in half and growled. The Titans stopped eating as Connor Kent, the former Super boy walked into the Titan's kitchen and took a glass of water. "Connor Kent?!" Colin asked. 

Connor gave a nod. "How'd you get in?" Jai asked. "I'm Superman's clone" Chris glared at Connor and walked up to the clone. "What are you doing here anyway? Your not a Titan anymore" Connor smiled and slapped Chris on the back. "I loved being a Titan and I wanted to make sure my 'cousin' was having just as much fun as I did. Maybe I could stay and train with you guys?" Connor looked around for an answer. "No. Kent go home" "Geez, your not like Tim at all" Damian glared daggers at him. 

"Well I'm leader and I think it's a great idea. He could help us. After all he is more experienced" Lian joined in. Connor nudged Chris. "Takes charge. I like it. Is she your girlfriend?" Chris' face turned red as he turned away. "Let's go!" Irey cheered as she sped off in front of the others. Damian, Jai, and Milagro followed. Nell and Melissa each took a side off Connor's arms and dragged him off. Chris, annoyed, followed behind them. Collin sat alone, eating his breakfast. Damian walked back in and stared at his best friend. "Wilkes- Colin's head shot up- Aren't you coming?"

Colin just shook his head. "Nope. I think I'm gonna take the day off" Damian nodded in understanding, before leaving. Meanwhile, in the gym. The former Super boy was showing the 'newbies' some of his skills. Half the team were marveling in his amazing-ness. Chris and Damian were sitting in the back, both glaring at the new arrival. "Why aren't you down there with mister 'awesome'?" Chris asked. "-TT- Clearly you don't know me. I can already do every move he calls 'impressive'" The youngest Wayne snorted. "Why aren't you up there with your cousin?" Chris turned to the Robin in furry. "He is not my cousin!"

Damian smirked. "Oh, so now you know how much I hate when people call Todd or Drake my brother?" Chris looked at him from the side of his eye. "Wow. I never understood why it bothered you so much. But I guess we're both the same" "Maybe.." Connor had seen Damian and Chris and yelled over to them. "Guys, what's up? Scared I might beat you in a fight?!" You could tell he was joking, but Chris' blood boiled, and he flew at the hero with great force. Both broke the wall. Chris sent punches left and right, but Connor dodged them. "Wow! Chris, calm down!" The others came and pulled one another of each other. 

Chris' forehead had a large gash in the side and Connor's fist was bleeding. Everyone separated the Kent's. Nell and Milagro were tending to his hand as Connor was still in shock. "I-I don't know what happened. He knew I was joking. What's wrong with that kid?!" Damian walked up to the injured clone. "The problem isn't Chris, Kent. The problem is you and your snooty generation thinking your better than us. And trying to show us who's top dog. Maybe next time when you and Drake and all your little friends are in trouble, we'll spear your miserable lives" And with that he left. 

Melissa was sent to get some ice for Chris' forehead, but got lost on the way. In the end, she ended up in Colin's room. She couldn't help but be nosy. She peeped into his closet. When she did, she pulled out a small picture in a frame and a large note. She looked at the photo. It was old and faded. There was a women with red hair. She looked just like her. And the man had blonde hair. Apart from the hair, he looked like Colin. Melissa held her breath as she read the note. 'Melissa Adeline Wilkes, twin sister of Colin Wilkes. No this couldn't be!

Chris was sitting in his room. He was holding a bloody cloth to his head. There was a knock at his door and he sat up. "Come in!" Conner came in and Chris rolled his brown eyes. "Could we talk?" Connor's hand was in a small cast. "Whatever" Chris mumbled. Connor took a seat beside Chris and Chris shifted away. "Wow. I have to admit. Your a great fighter" He tried to catch his 'cousin's' eyes. He sighs and gives up. "Look. I know you don't like me. Like when we're at our family parties you try and avoid me as best as you can. But you need to listen to me. Please? Just give me ten minutes" For the first time, in a long time, Chris met Connor's gaze with determination written all over himself. 

"Five" Connor nods. "I know what it's like. I was like you. I was afraid. I wanted to be close to Clark. You need to believe me. In the beginning he wouldn't even give me the time off day" Chris looked at him. "Really?" "Yeah. At least he adopted you. It took me and the entire Justice League to actually make him consider me apart of him.... I know your jealous that he and I are close. But it won't matter in two years, hell even three! Nothing really matters for that long. But when Sam is old enough he'll probably hate you... Look, Chris. I'm not asking you to be my friend. But please don't hate me for something I have no control over" 

Connor began to walk out, but Chris called him. "Wait, Conner-" They were both interrupted as the ground began to shake and screams were heard from down the hall. Both heroes ran down into the Oops room. The windows were all smashed and the team were battling Melissa's parents, who were both in giant robot suits. Everyone was trying to take the couple out, but the suits were to strong. One of the robots swung it's arm and it was about to hit Mel, but Colin jumped in the way. Sending Colin falling out the window. Melissa jumped out after him and tried to wake him up before they fell to their deaths. 

He had finally woken up.  He looked at her. "What's happening?!" Melissa held on to her brother tightly, bracing herself for the pain that would come soon. "We're going to die!" Hearing this, Colin turned into his abuse form and grabbed onto a window ledge. His body dangled down and Melissa was on his back. "Why are your parents doing this?!" "I called them. I found out that you really are my brother and told them I was staying with you" "Really?" "Really" Colin smiled and helped push Melissa safely into the building. Chris and Connor grabbed the two robotic suits and squeezed them until they were broken and the people couldn't move. 

"You can't do this! Our baby girl needs us" Jai began to call the police, as the two adults tried to squirm out of the hold. Melissa turned to Colin and smiled. "Colin, I have a question, could I stay here with you and your friends?" Colin tackled his sister in a hug, as his friends smiled happily. Chris turned to Connor. "Connor I-" Connor raised his hand and cut his 'cousin' off. "No it's fine. I'm going now anyway" He went to leave. "Actually I wanted you to stay a while longer..." Connor turned and smiled at his 'new' friend. "Thanks"
