Cheer Up Bat-Cup

It was New Years Eve. The team were celebrating with every other hero on this world and the next. Every hero you could think off was there. Except for Batman, he doesn't party... But his kids do. Even the JLA were there. All in the watchtower. Half the heroes were drunk because Jason Todd spiked the drinks. Lian was chasing her father and Jason who were drunk. They were showing people baby picture of her in the bath. (XD)

Milagro decided to stick with the Green Lanterns and train in another room, she wanted to become a better hero after the events off what happened a few days ago. Chris was talking with Superman and his friends. Colin was eating the snacks with Irey. Damian was trying to get a drunk Grayson to go home. Jai was with Tim talking about computers and hacking skills. And Nell was watching as Stephanie Brown, her idol, as she talked to Wonder Girl, Cassandra Cain and Super Girl. Steph was almost as drunk as Dick was. 

Nell loved Stephanie, she was the reason she became a hero in the first place. And Stephanie would never give up. Nell was pulled out of her thoughts as everyone turned to Superman on stage. "Thank you all for coming. I'm glad you could all celebrate with us. Get ready, It's five minutes until midnight!" Everyone started cheering. "Would anyone like to say something else?" At that Dick Grayson's hand shot up. Damian was desperately trying to get him to put it down. But the man was much stronger than his little brother. 

He got onto the stage. Damian followed trying to get him to leave. He turned to Damian. "Relax Little D. I got this" Damian blushed. Now everyone would tease him about the nick name. Dick walked over to the man of steel and took the microphone. He held it up side down and tapped it, trying to get feed back. Thinking it wasn't working he dropped it. Causing a large ear-stinging boom to explode from the speakers. Everyone covered their ears. "OK, OK. H-hi every-person. I'm gonna talk now since Bru-Batman! I said Batman! couldn't get his muscled ass up here." He tried to look at his butt, but ended up facing the wall as everyone watched him stand with his back to the audience. "You know some people say I have a nice butt. And do you know who has a cutie butt? Damian Wayne" Damian sunk down in his seat.

"Let's do karaoke!" He was about to continue. But Tim and Stephanie came on stage and took the microphone from him. They both joined hands. "I thought we should stop that because he would be embarrassed in the morning. Anyway. Steph and I have an announcement." Stephanie smiled and tightened her grip on her boyfriends hand. "I know I've done the hero gig for a really long time  I pretty much know everyone in this room.But I need to tell everyone that, I'm going to become a doctor. And I'm giving up the cape" Stephanie said. Everyone began to talk at once. Nell just stared in horror as everything went before her eyes. 

She couldn't process this. What was happening? Why was Stephanie no longer a crime fighter?! Nell didn't even notice the count down, the yelling in celebration, how Irey captured Damian and kissed him. And how Wally West near had kittens. For Nell it was the end off the world. She wasn't sure if she would make it...

It had been a day or two later. The Titans were currently battling Slade. And Slade had already taken out Impulse, Green Lantern, Abuse and Super Boy. Not seeing it coming Deathstroke slammed his foot into Robin's stomach, winding him. Robin fell down, leaving only Speedy and Batgirl. Speedy pulled out one of her guns, and began to shoot at the villain. Quickly Slade dodged the bullets and threw Lian off by putting a blade into her gun's hole, causing the gun to explode in Lian's hand. Batgirl shot her grapel hook, and flew towards him, slamming her fist into his face. He regained his consciousness and used a blade to cut the wire. Nell was sent flying into crates. 

Nell got back up and was about to attack, but was lost in thought about Stephanie, this gave Slade the upper hand and he knocked Batgirl out. He then planted venom, that would send the team when they inhaled it, into a drugged state of mind, that would kill them. The assassin left the building. Robin got up, giving out painful grunts. He peered around to notice only Green Lantern and Abuse were awake. Taking out his breathing mask. He tossed one over to each of them. They looked up at him. 

"We have five minutes to get everyone out of here before we die. Reyes use your ring and take Superboy, Wilkes take Lian and Nell, I'll take West" They followed Robin's orders and soon enough they were safe with their team mates in the tower. The others had all recovered from the fight. "How idiotic could you be?! You could have killed us all!" Damian yelled at Nell. Nell was caught off guard by the sudden out burst but yells back. "How was any of this my fault?" "You were the last one standing! You were so close to taking him down, but you got distracted!" Nell glared. "That's not fair! You can't blame this on me. And you've died before"

Damian's eyes narrowed. "I died once, but I don't want to do it again. You don't know what I've been through!" Everyone watched as they went back and forth. "Oh poor Robin, raised to be a fighting machine, my daddy's Batman. Oh he's the dark knight and won't give me a hug wawa" Nell mocked. "I'm suspending you from fighting" Nell's eyes went wide. "You can't do that! You aren't the team leader" "Guys calm down!" Jai butted in. "Yeah, it was a mistake" Milagro joined in.

"What made you lose it anyway?" Lian asked Nell. Nell began to cry. "Stephanie isn't Batgirl anymore! I'll never see her on TV with her witty comments and how she takes down the bad guys. She's my idol and without her... I-I don't think I can be a hero anymore" Milagro hugged Nell as they left the room. "What're we going to do?" Irey asked. "Maybe she'll get over it?" Chris suggested. "Or maybe there's something we can do.." Colin added.

Nell was in her room, sitting on her bed staring at the Batgirl costume that was mocking her. Telling her she was no hero, and that she was dumb for thinking it. There was a rap on her door, but she ignored it. Until the person behind the door got to the forth knock. Having enough, Nell yelled. "Go away!" "Nell your mom's here to pick you up" Milagro informed her before leaving. Sighing Nell lifted her suitcase and left the room. She looked back once more and then continued down the hall, She had finally gotten to the main room, but dropped her suitcase in shock. 

Milagro, Colin and Irey were sitting on the coach with Stephanie Brown! And by the door Damian, Lian, Jai and Chris were in deep conversation with Tim Drake! Everyone turned their attention to Nell. Nell began to cry again. She raced over and hugged Stephanie. "OMG! OMG, your here!" Steph smiled and patted her head. "Nice to see you again. I heard you gave up being Batgirl" Nell looked up at her idol and sadly replied. "Yeah, because your my hero. And Without you there's no point" 

Stephanie smiled. "I'm flattered, but just because I'm giving up doesn't mean you need to" Nell sat beside her. "But is that what you want? I thought you wanted to be a hero?" Nell desperately asked. "Ever since I started the gig I wanted to prove that I was a real superhero and I did. But I don't want to be a hero anymore, I don't need to. I want to help people in a different way. And now I can. I'm going to med school to become a midwife" Stephanie took Nell's hand in hers. "I have a good life. I have a boyfriend- She smiled at Tim- And I have wonder friends and a kick ass family. And you also have amazing friends and family. Nell you are Batgirl, you've always been Batgirl, don't give it up for anyone"

"We all believe in you" Nell looked around to see everyone smiling at her. "I believe in you. And one day you'll understand what I did. We need a batgirl as much as Gotham needs Batman, as much as Batman needs a Robin, as much as Flash needs speed. And so on" With that Stephanie and Tim joined hands and walked over to the elevator. "Later Brat Wonder" Damian glared. "I hate to admit it, but I do miss seeing your glare in the manor" Tim said, as he and Stephanie laughed.

Nell looked at her Batgirl costume.' I am Batgirl...' And she jumped from rooftop to rooftop. Being the hero she is and always will be.

We Don't Need A Geek- 

Jai and Damian get into a fight and Damian says something that will hurt Jai's feelings. Jai takes the insults literately and leaves the team to become a normal pre-teen, but just how long will the team last without their Oracle?
