14: Hiking Trip

Alayla didn't know where was Klaus but he was after some packs she was familiar. Alayla sat with Tyler and Elek in the mystic grill. As Elena is trying to find out more about the werewolves.

"Most werewolves like to be on their own for the full moon." Alayla explained "chain themselves up. However there are those werewolves who like to gather together somewhere isolated. Where they can enjoy it."

"What kind of places?" Elena asked them.

"Personally, I like to frolic through the woods with my family." Elek said to them "when we want to go out for a run. Its why our house is located in the woods."

"Some like to go in skate parks." Tyler added "also deserts, that kind of stuff."

"Anywhere in Tennessee?" Elena asked. Elek looks over to Alayla.

"Yes, actually." Alayla said "I was planning to go to Ray's pack. I've called him but he didn't answer and I called one of his betas as well."

Alayla pulls out a paper out of her pocket and unfold its. It was a map of Tennessee.

"Have you talk to Caroline today?" Elek asked Elena "I called her to see how she was doing but she didn't answer me."

"No, I haven't." Elena responded.

"You two are hanging out now?" Tyler asked in curiosity.

"Why not? she is full of life and a gorgeous girl that I enjoy being around her." Elek said to him. As Alayla finds the spot where the pack is located.

"Here. I was going to head to look for them there today." Alayla said "tell Alaric over there if his up for the smoky mountains."

Alayla looks at Alaric and pulls out her phone and dials his number. She sees his answers the call.

"Hey.." Alaric said.

"I know you're there. Spying." Alayla said "now listen, handsome. How do you feel doing a hike in the smoky mountains?"

"You want me to come at a night to hunt down some werewolves on a the full moon?" Alaric said. Alayla saw him in the distance in the bar.

"Fine, don't come." Alayla said "Elena and I can go hunt them down on our own. Come on Ric you are forgetting I can shift into an eight foot tall werewolf?"

"I actually never knew that." Alaric admitted to her.

"Well now you know." Alayla said "and if you two get tired I can shift and carry on my back. give you a piggy back ride."

"Alright, you got me." Alaric said "but you're driving."

Alayla lets out a grin and gets up along with Elena and both meet with Alaric.

They were walking around the forest as Alayla was trying to track them down.

"The full moon will be out in a few hours, my lovelies." Alayla said she pointing over a hill "just over that ridge. There where Ray's pack will be."

"And what are you to that pack?" Elena asked her "because I see you're in charge of everything."

"I am the alpha of the pack, honey." Alayla said "I am Ray's alpha and he's the alpha of that pack which makes me the alpha of them as well."

"So your a psychotic, werewolf, demon, witch, alpha, Girl Scout?" Elena joked which causes Alayla and Alaric to both laugh.

"Also daytime drinker, drunk wreck." Alayla added as they all laugh together

"Who also very attractive." Alaric added as Alayla look back him with a smirk.

"Never knew you felt that way Ric." Alayla said with a smile as they all had smile on their face. As they kept walking up over the rocks. As Alayla stop and crouches down putting her book down. "Here. I need to give you this."
