53: Its Really Me

As Alayla and Elek made their way back, Elek locks all the doors and look at his sister.

"Elek why?--" she asks.

"If Silas finds you that you are pregnant with Klaus's child both you and the baby are good as dead."

"I can take care myself I don't need to be on lockdown." Alayla snaps. Elek then cups her sister's cheeks.

"For once stop being stubborn and listen, Silas would kill you right away. I had the house spell so he won't get in and I had a spell on both of us so he won't find us any where." Elek states "please just stay here."

Alayla nods and Elek place a kiss on her forehead before leaving.

As Caroline made her way to her car and drop her keys. She then feels a presence as she stood up and look seeing no one.

"Who's there?" Caroline asks as Caroline turns around, she sees Elek standing with a smirk on his lips "oh my god." Caroline whispers "Elek..."

"Hello, Caroline." Elek said to her "Care to walk with me.."

As both of them started to walk with one another

"Everyone said you were gone for good." Caroline said to him as they walk together

"Part of that is true." Elek responds. "But you and I both know I never could have left without saying goodbye to you."

Caroline sighs "you don't owe me an explanation, you're moving on, by all means, go."

Elek chuckles "that's the thing, I never had any desire to move, the only thing I can ever think about is you." Elek approaches her and cups her cheek with his left hand as he caresses her cheek with his thumb "I can't never move on from you. Please come to New Orleans with me..."

Caroline gets out of his group sighing in frustration "I can't.." She said.

"What are you so afraid of darling?!" Elek asked her

Caroline then looks at him "You! I'm afraid of you!"

He approach closer to her his face inches away from hers. "Are you sure about that? Won't it be more accurate to say that you are afraid to act on your feelings. You're afraid of your darkest desires... Little Elena was right wasn't she.. You long to have your perfect feathers ruffled."

Caroline then becomes suspicious of what he just said "how do you know what Elena said to me in that cell?"

He then stakes her in the stomach and smirks "then again there is a lot to be afraid of, isn't there, like what I'll do to you if your friend Bonnie doesn't come out of hiding, where is she?"

Caroline began to breath harder "Silas.."

"Where is she?!" Silas demanded to know "she is not at home, she is not anywhere... Bonnie is playing games with me.. And I hate games.. Make sure you tell her I am looking for her.." Silas whispers. "Tell her to come out of the shadows. Tell her that this is only the beginning.."

Silas then daggers her again near her heart. As she screams in pain and disappear in thin air.

As Caroline wakes up and she rapidly got up and started to run that's when Alayla stops her.

"Caroline!"

"Alayla" She said in relief "we have to get out of here! You have to get out of here!"

"Why I just got back here?" She asked Caroline confused. "Its okay Caroline, calm down."

"No its not okay!" Caroline said panicking "Silas is out there he made me think that he was your brother Elek.."

"That makes no bloody sense?!" Alayla said "what would Silas want with you?!"
