28: Pulling the trigger

Alayla sat on her couch just hearing her surroundings how quite it was since her siblings were out at the moment. She then heard something drop upstairs. Alayla immediately heads upstairs into her room opening the door to find Adam. Who He seems to have knock over a lamp.

"Whoops.." Adam said with a smile. Alayla immediately smiled seeing him back and run towards him as she jumps to hug him. She wraps her legs around his waist as he held her back. "woah! someone is excited to see me." he teased.

"You know how long it's been since I seen your pretty face?" Alayla said with smile as she lean her back to look at him.

"Well I have the day plan for us, babe." Adam said to her "just you and I."

Alayla sighs as she slowly drops back onto her feet. As she sighs.

"I can't, love." Alayla said "I had to help Stefan.. Later on the day."

"Then I'll come with you." Adam said to her.

"Actually at the moment I have to go with Caroline to do the school." Alayla said to him. "But You can join me on that."

"Alright lets go." Adam said with smile. As they were about to leave Adam turns to the night stand and sees the drawing Klaus made her. "So klaus is now giving you things. This is pretty creepy."

Alayla turns to see what he meant and saw the drawing on the night stand.

"Oh yeah, he drew that for me." Alayla said to him. "He can be a little off even if he trying to be charming."

"So you and him?"

"No!" Alayla said "never again, he's a jerk. He's like a dog when the dog pees on a fire hydrant they become territorial over it."

"Are you saying Klaus peed on you?" Adam joked as Alayla laughed.

"Ew no that is disgusting!" Alayla said through her laugher. They both laugh but then it soon became silent in the room as he look at the drawing.

"Then why haven't you killed him yet?" Adam asked "if you hate him.. "

"I don't--" Alayla said "I mean I can't kill him not anymore.."

"Why not?" Adam said "I'm feeling more like myself. I mean still doing the treatment but I can help you take him down."

"No, because if we kill klaus.. you'll die along with him." Alayla admitted "and his entire bloodline of vampires.."

"So I die as well." Adam said in a sadden tone.

"And right now.. If Stefan and Damon find out that their not part of his bloodline..." Alayla explained.

"They're killing Klaus along with me." Adam said to her. As she nods.

"But I'm not letting that happen. I won't let them kill him. I'll do anything to keep you safe." Alayla reassured him. She then approach him and pulls him into a hug.

As Alayla set up for the roaring twenties for the party. Adam also help as they set up for the along with Matt. Caroline comes in and looks at the at them.

"What is this?!" Caroline asked them.

"Don't you remember love?" Alayla said "setting up for the dance."

"No.. this is the twenties!" Caroline scold "it was suppose to be seventies."

"Well I changed it to twenties." Alayla said with a smirk.

"Why?" Caroline asked.

"Because I love the twenties." Alayla answered her "the roaring twenties. Best parties ever.. and you know what they say. Party like Gatsby."
