Best Friends| Part Three

Chapter 7

Three Months Later-Genevieve
"Oh Lord! Get her, Trey!" I say while laughing.

I sit on the couch awkwardly holding Damien because of my small pregnant stomach as Yasmine and Trey run around the house. We got Yasmine two weeks ago, but she's so energetic and outgoing that it was easy for her to adjust.

Our family and friends thought we were nuts for adopting from Japan, but they got over it. Damien came last month, and he had a rough start. He's great now.

Yasmine screams in laughter once Trey catches her and tickles her. I smile in amusement. My heart is filled with so much joy. I stand up and walk upstairs to put Damien down for his nap in his crib. I walk back downstairs to get Yasmine.

I walk over to where Trey and Yas are now playing with Legos on the floor.

"Quiet down because Damien is napping now." I tell Trey.

He looks at me and nods. Let's see how quick he forgets and Damien wakes up crying.

"And it's time for Yas to eat and bathe." I say extending my hand to Yasmine to take.

She grabs a doll and takes my hand and we walk to the kitchen.

"You're not gonna help me clean up?" Trey calls from the playroom.

"Uh. I need to get Yasmine situated. Just do it by yourself, Trey." I say while putting Yasmine in her high chair.

Trey groans loudly and I giggle. Yasmine giggles too, but I bet she doesn't understand. I heat up Yasmine's Mac and cheese and veggies. As the food heats up, I walk over to Yasmine and play with her. My mother and father have been bothering Trey and I to bring the kids to Haiti.

Trey is really reluctant to travel with me because I'm pregnant. The doctor said that I'm fine and it's okay for me to travel, but Trey still has his doubts. Once the food is done heating up, I take it out and begin feeding Yasmine.

"You like it, mama?" I coo at her while smiling,

She grins back with her mouth full macaroni. Definitely Instagram worthy. I grab my phone off the table and manage to take a photo of her. I post it to my Instagram while feeding Yasmine and my notifications explode.

Trey walks into the kitchen and kisses both of our foreheads. He heads to the cabinet and grabs a granola bar. He comes over and sits next to us. Trey obnoxiously chews his granola bar as he watches me feed Yasmine.

"You want me to take over so you can get some rest?" He finally asks.

"Please. My back is aching." I admit.

Trey and I barely get sleep with Damien waking up in the middle of the night to be fed, changed, or held. Today is just one of the rare days that he hasn't at least once been called to leave the house.

Most days, I'm here alone with a 7 week old baby and an energetic 2 year old. All while pregnant. I hand Trey the small plate of food and kiss his lips.

"Thank you. Wake me up in like 2 hours." I tell him while grabbing my phone.

"Yes, babe. Now go." He commands.

I just love when he takes charge. That ish is like a huge turn on. As soon as I get to my room, I throw myself on the California king sized bed and quickly doze off.

Trey
After giving Yasmine her bath, she falls asleep. I carefully lay her in her toddler bed and tip-toe out. Thank God! This is a rare moment of peace and quiet. I walk over to where Damien is in his bassinet to check up on him. Still passed out.

Guess this means I can rest. I make a break for the bedroom I share with Gee, and hop into bed beside her. I thought she was knocked out, but she says,

"I'll give us 30 minutes before one of them wakes up."

I groan in exhaustion. She chuckles and crawls into my arms. With the kids, we haven't been able to really be close and intimate with each other. I rub her swollen stomach and kiss her soft lips. She moans and rests her hand on my abs. Pregnant and horny much?

"Do you wanna sleep or...?" I ask her in between kisses.

She slides her hand under my sweats and rubs my dxck in response.

"We gotta be quick though." She says.

"No problem," I respond as I climb on top of her.
