Hate at Reunion

It was a quiet and peaceful morning until.... "Ventus wake up or you'll be late for school!" Roxas yell from downstairs to get his twin to wake up for breakfast. Ventus groaned as he started to wake up. He looked at his clock on his night stand and sprung up on his bed. "Roxas why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" Ventus yelled back to his brother as he got off his bed. He started to get ready as he went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and brushed his teeth as well a dry of the excess water that was in his hair.

After he was done he rushed back inside his room and started to get dress. His outfit consists of black shorts and a grey sweatshirt with a hood and a pocket in the bottom middle of the jacket and of course his checkered wristband. After he was done he rushed downstairs to the kitchen not before grabbing his backpack. "Took you long enough...." Roxas a he finished setting up their breakfast on the table. "Well I wouldn't have token so long to wake up if you woken me up earlier." Ventus said with a scoff as he sat down and started to eat his breakfast that Roxas made.

"What are you talking about? I did try to wake you up earlier but you either stayed asleep or you woke up for a second and then fell back asleep the next." Roxas explained as he took a seat across from his brother and started to eat his breakfast as well. Ventus looked up at Roxas with a confused look, "Remind me to set up an alarm later" Ventus said before going back to eating his breakfast. "Yeah whatever" Roxas said back not look up once.

After they both finished, Roxas brought their dishes to the sink and washed them. Ventus went to the the living room where he left his backpack. Before he was completely out of the room he spotted two envelopes on one of the kitchen counters. "Roxas what are these?" Ventus asked as he walked toward to where the envelopes are and looked at them. One of them was addressed to him while the other was to Roxas. "Oh I forgot, those are from mom and dad." He said as he finished washing the dishes and walked to the envelopes.

Ventus handed him the envelope that had his name on it. As they held it they felt something besides a piece of paper inside and the envelopes were heavier than if it was only a letter which they usually get from their parents. "I wonder what's inside besides the usual..." Roxas thought out loud. "Well I guess only one was to find out" Ventus said as he started to open his. As they both opened they're envelopes they pulled out two star shaped pendent each having a long rope/leather like strap tied at the end of one of the points and a miniature colorful star at the end to connect the strap together. Ventus and Roxas looked at each other with confuse expressions. They turned back to their envelopes and pulled out a piece of paper. Ventus started to read his out loud.

Dear Ventus,

You might be wondering what the start shaped objects are. They are charms called Wayfinders. You aunt and uncle, Aqua and Terra, found them in their attic. The Wayfinders have a message in them, it's says that no matter where we are, we'll always there with each other, a friend or family. There were five originally, we kept one with us and sent the other four to the two of you, two for you and two for Roxas. Now you're probably wondering why we sent two for each of you, well we know that you two are starting your first day at Twilight High and well we just got the feeling that you'll both find your soulmate  there. So the other one will be for that person, whoever it may be. Anyways that is all, we'll be back soon, promise, and make are you two keep each other safe.

Roxas and Ventus looked at each other again confused expressions and just looks back at the two charms called Wayfinders. Roxas had ones that were sunset red/yellow and ocean blue while Ventus had one that grassy green and midnight black. They put both of their Wayfinders in their pockets. "Let's go before we miss the bus" Roxas said and the two brothers both grab their backpacks and phones then head out to their bus stop and waited with all the other kids that probably went to the same school. As the bus arrived, all the teens including Ventus and Roxas got on, both of them sitting in the same seat at the back of the bus.
