With Ventus~

"What should I do, I can't tell Vanitas... Why does this have to happened now?..." Ventus thought as he was curled up on his bed and holding his head. It was 3am and Ventus couldn't get a wink of sleep. A vibration from has bed table snapped him out of his unpleasant thoughts. He straightened up on his bed and turn around reaching out his hand to grab his phone. As he took a hold of his phone, the light illuminating from the screen lit up his face.

"Hey Ven, I know this is late, but look out your window." he reads. He just set his phone back on the nightstand and lays back down facing the well, curled up. After a bit, he heard his window being opened. Ventus could probably guess who it was, but he just laid still and closed his eyes pretending to sleep.

Footsteps were nearing him and his bed as Ventus laid as he was, trying to calm down his breathing. "Ventus.... I know you're up.." A voice said as it looked over him. Ventus didn't answer or move. Vanitas climbed onto the bed as he was now on top of Ven and hovering above him. His golden eyes not once leaving the blonde teen. "Ventus, we need to talk..." Vanitas said in a soft voice.

Ventus tthought about it for a bit before turning over onto his back and staring up at golden eyes. Vanitas had a small smile, but that soon faded once he saw tears coming out of the other's eyes. Ventus was trying really hard not to cry, but the sight of seeing the raven and that he had to leave very soon didn't help.

"V..ventus... What's wrong?" Vanitas asked as he took a hand to wipe away the tears. Ventus slowly shook his head and forced a small smile. "It's nothing, I'm just glad I'm able to see you right now.." he said, though it wasn't a lie. Vanitas leaned his head down as he touches his forehead with the other. A part of Vanitas didn't really believe Ventus, but he decided not to ask. "I'm glad to see you, too..." Vanitas said.

Ventus just stayed quiet as tears just begin to fall down again. Vanitas laid down beside the other as he wrapped his arm around the blonde and pulled him. Ventus shuffled around as he was facing Vanitas instead and rested in the other's chest. After staying like that for awhile, Ventus managed to fall asleep.

~ Morning Time ~

Ventus woke up from the morning sunshine. He really didn't want to get up as he just stayed in his position. He noticed that Vanitas was gone as he continued to stay still. "He must've gone to school or something..." he muttered under his breath. Ventus sighed as he curled up and tightly shut his eyes. "I...I don't want to leave here.." Ventus thought. "I don't want to leave Vanitas' side.." he continues. "But I feel like I'll hold him back if I do.." he passed his thoughts for a moment

"That's it.... I'm decided on leaving. It'll probably be better for him if I did. All I've ever done for him was cause trouble. He could do much more than I can. And... And-" Ventus' thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his room door opening and footsteps. He felt another weight near the edge of the bed. Ventus stayed still as he felt a hand caress his cheek gently. The hand traveled up into his hair. "It feels so nice and calming..." He thought as all his worries and thoughts began to melt away. Ventus slowly open his eyes as he looked up to see the one person he held dear.

"Looks like you're awake. Funny... You're usually awake before me, not the other way around." Vanitas joked as a soft smile appeared on both their faces. "Well I wanted to know how it feels like to sleep like you." Ventus said playfully as he sat up using his arms to push part of his weight up and off the bed. "And? How was it?" Vanitas asked not pulling his hand away. Ventus closed his eyes and pretended to think. He put a hand Vanitas' hand that was on him. "Kinda pleasant." he said opening his eyes and looking into golden orbs that were always on him.

Vanitas chuckles from the answer as he slowly pulled his hand away. He then stood up and picked Ventus up in his arms. "V..Vanitas! What do you think you're doing?!" Ventus let out as he was in the other's arm like a bride. "You, Ventus Strife is late to school." Vanitas said with a smirk as he walked into the bathroom connect to the room holding Ventus close. Ventus didn't fight back as he held onto Vanitas' shirt and rested his head into his chest. "I don't want to go to school today...." Ventus muttered out.

The words surprised Vanitas as he stopped and looked down at the blonde. "Excuse me? This is the first I've ever heard you actually want to skip school with your own free will." he said as Ventus looked up at the raven with pleading eyes, "Can I please not go to school today~" he pleaded. Vanitas sighed as he walked into the bathroom anyways. He then kicked the door shut behind them. Vanitas then began to put Ventus down, but Ventus continued to cling onto his shirt like a small child that was afraid. Vanitas began to become worried by the blonde's weird actions. "Ventus... You're acting really strange, what's wrong?" he asked as he continued to hold him.

Ventus stayed quiet as he gestured for Vanitas to put him down. The raven complied as he set the Blonde down on his feet. Ventus looked down at the floor trying to keep the tears in. "I...." he wanted to tell Vanitas the truth, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. "Come on Ventus! Just tell him the truth!" he yelled at himself in his head. He then looked up at Vanitas. He couldn't take it anymore as he just hugged the raven tightly and began to cry into the other's chest.

Vanitas was surprised by the sudden action, but that didn't stop him from hugging the other back tightly. He slowly rubbed Ventus' back soothingly to calm him down. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry... I'm sorry.." Ventus continued to matter in the other's chest as he tried to stop his tears. "Shh... It's alright. You don't have to tell me now ok? Just tell me when you feel comfortable..." Vanitas said. He then pulled away from the hug as he wiped away Ventus' tears with his thumb. "Everything will be alright, ok?" he said giving the other a small smile. Ventus nodded as he whipped his remaining tears with his sleeve with a few sniffles.

"Now. You just get ready. I want to bring you somewhere.." Vanitas said as he learned down and kissed Ventus deeply. "I'll go anywhere with you. After all... Today is the last day that we'll be together.." Ventus thought before they pulled away from each other. Vanitas walked out of the bathroom and closing the door after he left. Ventus just stayed where he stood as he turned his head to the side to look at himself in the mirror. "I hope we'll be able to meet eachother again someday Vanitas..." He thought.

Well I actually managed to update.... Yay... I'm so sorry for the late update. Reason being is, so I had everything planned out of how I planned to end this. Well, you know when it's like at near end you mind starts to debate with your original plan? Yeah, that's what happened to me. I know, poor excuse. Kill meh if you want.

Anywho, I managed to sort things out. Plus... I did start to get addicted to an app. Yep. I got addicted to an app for about a month if not more. Which basically screwed with my train of though but this Fanfic. But worry not! I know how I'm gonna end. You'll probably either hate me or like me to how I will end this. Who am I kidding, you'll hate me either way 😂

Cruel life... Anyways... Thanks for reading. Oh and before I actually forget... Next chapter will be final chapter. So do you guys think that Ventus will find a way to stay/Vanitas gets him to stay, or will Ventus leave? Ya gotta find out in the next and final chapter!
