Baking Mess

As class started the teacher decided to do a fun little lab to start things off as she told the class to form a group of no more than seven people. Of course both twins as well as Axel, Xion, and Naminé formed a group. "Ready to make a mess you guys?" Axel asked as basically the entire group agreed that there will probably end up being a huge mess in the end. "Guys we're just baking cupcakes, I highly doubt anyone can make a big mess, but somehow I think you guys will manage to make a big one somehow...." Ventus said knowing what's gonna end up happening as he preheats the oven. After the teacher handed each group a recipe for the cupcakes, everyone went to get the ingredients off the counter. Everyone in the group pitched in and did one thing off the recipe and directions list. "Hey Roxas watch out!" Sora called out. "What-" Roxas turned around as he got a face full of flour. "Oh you are so gonna get it Sora!" he yelled out in a playful manor.

And from that one thing, the group of friends started to make a mess as their kitchen was snowy white from all the flour being thrown at each other. Ventus and Vanitas decided to stay out of the little war as the waited for the cupcakes to fully bake as they were getting the icing ready. After the two got that ready they just leaned against the counter waiting as they watched their friends throw flour at each other. "I'm surprised the teacher hasn't stopped them yet.." Ventus said. "Well they're kinda a big influence, I mean look at the other groups, they're laughing and joking around the same way their group of friends were messing around. Ventus sighs, "Hey remember the first time we met?" he asked looking at Vanitas. "How could I forget, that was the day our lives were tied together.." Vanitas looked at Ventus with small smile as the blonde returns with a smile as well. "Do you wish you could go back and change anything?" Ventus asked the raven. "Hmmm.. I guess there is something I want to change.." Vanitas say which caught Ventus' attention. "Hm? What is it that you want to change?" he asked curious of what it is. "I would go back and make you mine sooner" The raven haired teen said as he leaned closer to the blonde haired teen. 

Just as they were about to kiss, their twins threw flour at them which stopped them midway. The flour was all on part of their faces and in their hairs. Right and then the oven let out a small 'ding' signaling the group that the cupcakes were ready. Xion and Naminé pulled the trays of perfectly baked cupcakes out of the oven and put them on top of the stove. "They smell really good!" Axel commented. "Let's decorate them!" Sora yelled out and the group agreed as they each took a colored frosting and started to apply it o the cupcakes. After everyone was finished they sprinkled some different shaped sprinkles on the cupcakes before stopping and looking at what they just made together. "Well that turned out better than we though it would.." Xion said. "Yeah, and we actually didn't make that much of a mess."  Naminé added giggling. 

"Forget the mess or how it looks, let's try em!" Axel said and everyone nodded as everyone took a cupcake and tried some. "We can take some home right?" Roxas asked and Ventus nodded. "Yeah, there are small plastic containers that we can take home with us. "Cool, I'll go get them for each of us." Roxas said and went of to get the plastic containers as he came back to the group a few seconds later with seven containers. Everyone took one as they evenly divided the cupcakes between everyone as everyone got four cupcakes. After that they cleaned up their kitchen area and sat down at the desks waiting for the bell to ring. After ten or so minutes, the bell ran and everyone walked out of the class with a their little baked treats. Both twins said goodbye to Xion, Naminé, and Axel as they walked back home. 

After their little fifteen minute walk, they got home and went up to their rooms and set everything down. As Ventus put down his backpack and container of cupcakes on his bedside table, he fell onto hi bed tiredly. After a few minutes of laying down, he felt someone get onto his bed next to him. He didn't mind as he knew who it was when a pair of arms wrapped around him and pulling him closer until he could feel breathing against his neck. Ventus put his hands on the pair of arms as he closed his eyes with a smile. "So what was the thing that you were talking about with Roxas?" Vanitas asked continuing to hold Ventus as he breathed down his neck sending chills down the blonde's spine. "Oh that's right... Well I can't really give it to you if you continue to hold me like this. "Then give it to me later.." Vanitas said as he continued to hold Ventus close to him. As both boys laid there, there slowly fell asleep as they took a nap together.
