Izuku entered the Hero Office with a sense of urgency, his every step purposeful as he activated his communicator. His voice remained calm and steady, but there was an undeniable edge of seriousness beneath it.
Izuku: Emergency meeting. Now.
Within minutes, both Class 1A and 1B gathered, some still catching their breath from the sudden summons. The atmosphere in the room shifted the moment they saw Izuku's serious expression. Conversations hushed, and all eyes turned to him.
His mismatched eyes scanned the room, ensuring everyone was present before he began.
Izuku: We have a situation, "he said, his voice firm and steady". A dangerous one. "He stepped forward, crossing his arms as he continued". The Hero Public Safety Commission has received multiple reports of heroes losing their Quirks after being attacked. At first, they thought this was connected to the old Quirk-erasing bullets, but the truth is far worse. This isn't about erasing Quirks. Someone is stealing them.
A murmur of unease spread through the group. Some students exchanged glances, while others tensed up at the implication. Izuku didn't let them dwell on it.
Izuku: I've confirmed the identity of the latest victim. His name is Shimano. A civilian. Not a hero. That means whoever is behind this isn't just hunting heroes—they're searching for something specific. "His voice darkened slightly". Shimano has two children on this island. Which means there's a high chance that the enemy will be coming here next.
A heavy silence settled over the room. Izuku let his words sink in before continuing.
Izuku: We don't know exactly when they'll attack, but my best estimate is around noon. We also can't rule out the possibility of Nomu's involvement. That means we have to be prepared.
Despite the growing tension in the air, Izuku's voice remained composed. He wasn't just giving orders—he was ensuring that no one panicked.
Izuku: We can't let this information spread to the civilians. If they start panicking, it'll only make things harder for us. So, until the enemy shows up, I want everyone to act normal. Business as usual. No sudden changes in behavior. Understood?
Everyone nodded, their expressions shifting from unease to determination. They knew this was serious, and they trusted Izuku's judgment.
He took a deep breath before moving on to the battle plan.
Izuku: I've already devised a plan. We'll divide it into three teams to maximize our effectiveness across the island. "He turned to Ochaco and Melissa first". The first team will be stationed near the shores. This is where they might try to land, and we need a strong defense there. Ochaco and Melissa, you'll be leading this team. You both have excellent mobility and firepower. Your job is to keep them from gaining a foothold.
Ochaco gave a firm nod, determination flickering in her eyes, while Melissa pushed her glasses up, already running calculations in her mind.
Izuku: The second team will focus on patrolling the city and handling close-combat threats. If enemies break through the first team, your job is to engage them and prevent them from reaching civilians. Shishida, you'll be leading alongside Kirishima.
Shishida nodded, his beast-like features showing no hesitation.
Shishida: We won't let them past us.
Kirishima grinned, cracking his knuckles.
Eijiro: Yeah! No way we're letting any villains ruin this island!
Izuku: The final team is the rescue squad. "he continued". If things get bad, their job will be to protect the civilians and evacuate them if necessary. Kendo, Yaomomo, you'll be leading this group with Tetsutetsu as support.
