The once tiny, frail-looking green-haired boy now resembled a work of art Each muscle was defined and appeared to be cut specifically for his physique. Sweat rolls down his abdomen; he stands up and shifts the slide-out bed beneath the main hospital bed before beginning his push-ups. A constantly growing puddle of sweat forms beneath his torso.

As he was doing pushups his thoughts were reflecting his past. He had once been known as the quirkless boy, the weakling who idolized heroes despite lacking any special abilities himself. But today, everything was different. Today, he is no longer quirkless. After doing his daily quest and changing his clothes he goes to the doctor's room. Shortly later, Izuku is handed a slip from the doctor to excuse him for being absent from classes.
After leaving the hospital his journey took him back to a small, modest apartment on the outskirts of the city, the place he had called home for years. This apartment, left to him by his late father, had been his sanctuary after a series of hardships. His parents had died in a tragic accident when he was only six, leaving him to fend for himself. The orphanage, which should have been a refuge, had instead cast him out when it became clear he had no quirk. Life had been an uphill battle ever since.
