Chapter 10: Sister Sister

James Pov:
I see a blonde hair girl looking at us with wide eyes, she runs and shuts the door behind her. She seemed maybe 19 or 20 she looked nothing like Riley but still you can sense that warm feeling between them. "RILEY! What in the world!?! Who is this?" She yells but then lowers her voice. She goes back to the door and locks it. Riley's already jumping of me and she runs to the Blonde haired girl and gives a big hug. I can see little tears welling up in her eyes as she mumbles the name "Emily..."
I guess Emily pulls her back, wipes her tears and then hugs her even tighter. " I promised you I'd come back.." She whispers in Riley's ear. They finally pull back out and Emily gestures to me asking who I am. " um J-James.. S-sorry.." I say stuttering. she gives me a glare and turns to Riley for explanation. " O-okay well Umm" she looks to me as if it was a signal. " James here is my gay best friend.. He got drunk and apparently didn't feel safe going anywhere else but here so I let him stay the night and I figured if Mom or Dad found out... They'd get the wrong idea.." She says looking down. " uh huh.. " She looks at me and a little down then shakes her head." Okay that's fine but we need to get James here.. Out." I notice that it's still not gone Ugh seriously. She probably knew but didn't say anything I guess she decided to go along with it. Now Riley turns to me, "James you should um probably go" she says kind of embarrased I open the window and slowly move against the rail and swing and find this little pole and slide down it. Jeez how did I do this last night? I shake my head and sit down onto this little frame and then jump off. I can hear mumbling, " Riley look I trust you.. But this better not happen again okay?" She says strictly. " yeah I'm sorry Em he just came out of no where and it was raining pretty bad, long story I promise I'll explain later" I move a little back and I can see then hugging from the window. Then Emily leaves and Riley says " bye sis.." And then someone pokes me on my shoulder and I turn around to see a dark haired, mid aged man. " sorry sir um your.." He cuts me off.
"Im Riley's dad."
I gulp.
