I'm no Sherlock Holmes or mastermind, but the diary Calum found and the phone call he had with Camilla and her kidnapper, was definitely our way in to get Camilla back. Since Beth has a car, we'll use her car to travel to the warehouse. But the car only holds a certain amount of people, that means, some of us will have to stay behind.
Today is the day we will rescue Camilla. Finally, I've been waiting for this day and so has the others, especially Calum. Before we head off we have to vote. Soo Ash takes over, he's the oldest ( boy ).
"Okay, since Beth's car is too small, she probably needs a new one".
Beth pokes Ash.
"Hey! I don't need a new car, perhaps I need a new boyfriend".
"You dare!".
"Bring it bandana".
"Anyways, before Beth kindly interrupted me, I was gonna say we need to vote on who's staying here".
Here I go.
"I volunteer as tribute!".
Everyone stares at me, they are either surprised I voted myself or I took the right opportunity to say a line from The Hunger Games. Probably both. Mavi hugs me and whispers.
"Don't stay, we need you".
I hug her tighter. I hear her sob into my chest, I kiss her head.
"Micheal you can't stay, we do need you, Camilla needs you".
I nod my head. Ash is right. But who's going to stay here? We can't all go. Then from the corner of the room both Gibbson and Lydia appear, I know what they are going to say, but we won't like it.
"Me and Gibbson will stay".
Luke looks taken back. He grabs her shoulder protectively.
"whoa whoa hold up, your not staying here, come with us".
"Penguin, someone has to stay so me and Gibbson are. Please just trust me".
"I'm not letting you go".
"Luke trust me"
Calum interrupts as well.
"Gibbson isn't staying, I need her".
"Calum as much as I love you, I'm your cousin, I can make my own choice".
"But what if we get into trouble?"
"Then I'll whip your ass".
Calum hugs Gibbson as Luke hugs Lydia. Love is a strange thing, but love is what makes a person stronger. Soo I guess were leaving two behind then. Ash finishes off the vote.
"So it's decided, come on lets go".
I hug everyone because I'm such a softie. No wait. I'm punk rock. So yeah this is it. We are going to save Camilla. Wish us luck. But just before we go, Lydia shouts so only I can hear, since the others are deaf.
"Remember. Kick there ass".
