Meet the Family

Zayn's POV

"Oh my gosh, can you believe that we'll be getting married in another two months? There's so much to plan!" Perrie squealed as both of our mum's laughed along with us. Right now we were looking at different churches to have our wedding in and so far we found a nice one here in Dublin. It was our last day here, we'd be flying back to London tomorrow because the girls schedules would be busy once again. They had concerts and signings and interviews for the next two weeks.

"I like this church...it's not too big and not too small, it's perfect" she smiled inhaling before turning around looking at us. "What did you think honey?" she asked as I looked around. It did have a nice vibe to it and I'm sure Niall would love for us to get married in his country. "I love it" I replied as she clapped excitedly before turning to our wedding guide. "Mark this one down, I believe we'll be renting it!" Laughing he typed something into his tablet before sending us a nod. "It's officially reserved for your wedding"

Liam's POV

"Thanks for breakfast Leigh, it was amazing" I smiled standing up and washing my dish while Niall went back for seconds. "Anytime, glad you liked it" she replied as Jade sat at the table picking the food with her fork. She hasn't been talking much this morning and every time I asked if she was alright she just said she was fine, I know she isn't though...she's still shaken up from yesterday. I just hated feeling so helpless, like no matter what I did nothing I said was really going to comfort her.

"Jade, sweetie are you not hungry?" Leigh-Anne asked placing a hand on Jade's shoulder. "No..." she mumbled before pushing her plate away. Quietly sighing I grabbed her plate setting it up on the counter as she slowly stood up walking out the kitchen. Watching as she slid down the wall she fiddled with her fingers before running her hands through her hair multiple times. Just as I was walking out the kitchen to go talk to her the doorbell rang causing her face to shoot up. Making my way towards the door, I opened it to see a cop standing there with sorrow written on his face.

"Is Ms. Thirlwall present?" looking back at Jade to see she was watching I turned back to the cop. "Yes she is...can I ask why you're looking for her?" I answered hesitantly. Before the cop could say anything else I felt a small hand on my back. Turning around, I looked down to see Jade standing there the look of confusion in her eyes. "I'm Ms. Thirlwall..." she said quietly as the cop looked back up at me before glancing down at her. "I'll need a word with you privately..." he said firmly only for Jade to wrap her arms around my waist, "Whatever you have to say you can say in front of him too"

"Ok, well...it's been brought to our attention that your ex Sam Craske has attempted rape" he started off. Feeling Jade's body immediately tense up I put my arm around her pulling her closer to me. "H-How did you find out?" she stuttered, her face going pale. "He turned his self in, he was a wreck" the cop clarified as I stared at him shocked. Sam had turned his self in? By the look on Jade's face I could tell she was thinking the same thing. "He turned his self in...?" Jade questioned as the cop nodded. "He did, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that but you are safe now, he won't be leaving anytime soon" the cop smiled and for the first time today I saw a small smile form on Jade's face which caused me to smile.
