Chapter 23 Caris's POV

I stepped into the room that I was assigned to and looked around; it was decorated with a picture of a small ship and a little bed in the corner. No windows, a little door, and no place to escape yep this place is on my ‘watch your back’ list. The door closed behind me as I took another step into the room. “Okay,” I said to myself “Definitely creepy…” I sat down on my bed and looked around one more time for safety purposes before I lay down. After a few minutes there was a knock on my door and Sam walked in. “Hey.” He said softly I smiled as he walked over and sat on my bed. I snuggled up to him and he put his head softly on mine. “I don’t think we can do this anymore it’s all falling apart who knows what we will do next.” I whispered. Sam looked at me “I know you can do this you got us this far with help and we can get out of this together just keep your chin up.” I smiled

******************************A couple of hours later *******************************

                I woke up with a start, I knew it was late at night but I heard a loud noise and sat straight up. “Sam!” I whispered but he just mumbled in his sleep so I sort of went to the extreme way of waking him up. SMACK “OW WHAT THE F-CARIS THAT HURT!” Sam shouted thank goodness the walls were sound proof. “I’m sorry but there was a noise and I don’t trust this place, lest move.” I jumped out of bed and ran towards the door lugging Sam behind me. I raced down the hall and burst through Sabrina’s door were her and Matt were sleeping. I flipped on the lights “Come on people something’s wrong I know it. “Caris,” Sabrina groaned “can’t we sleep?” “No let’s go.” I pulled them out of bed then raced down to André’s room “Juliet, André lets go…wait…WERES JULIET! I lost my key or whatever you call a girl that is running around screeching on the top of her lungs JULIET WERE ARE YOU!

I wasn’t the only one André was freaking out a little bit more than I was. Then we heard a noise almost tripping and falling. We all looked at each other and quietly agreed that it was Juliet I felt relieved for one second until we caught up to her. “Juliet!” We all shouted down the hall but she kept walking; never a good sign. André motioned us to stay and he walked up to her “Juliet,” André’s voice was sweet sounding and scared “Juliet hey it’s me.” André walked down the narrow hallway while we inched forward behind him. André lightly touched Juliet’s shoulder; she spun around and before I could blink she did a round house kick to André’s face her piercing glowing ruby red eyes were just a bit creepy but then her face came back to normal “André!” she screamed then the ugly side took over and started to walk all over again.

André was almost in tears; he stood up wiped blood off of his chin and started to walk in the direction of were Juliet went “André, where are you going?” Sam asked. “She is going somewhere so I am going to follow.” André answered. We all exchanged glances and decided to follow him.

***************************A couple of hours later***************************************

So we have no food no water and no horses…great…we’ll get far…we were back in the grassy fields; André was right there next to Juliet getting hit if her got to close or I he helped her up. From watching her stubble and fall I see that in possessed crazy mode you can’t see very well so when Juliet sits down to rest (what possessed people need breathers too) André would tell us everything that the real Juliet had got to say but apparently she’s very tired to so her words are slurred and is fighting to be awake. At the end of the day possessed Juliet curled up on top of a rock and passed out and André put a blanket over her and came back to us. His nose was bleeding he had a black eye and he had little cuts on him. “Okay Juliet has told me that Sebastian made her sleep and she is going to Bad Kong to do something.” André confirmed. I nodded my head but I was really sleepy I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in a while. So I spread out my blanket and fell into a deep dreamless sleep…
