Deitonin removed his cloak as the elevator shuddered to a stop and the doors open; he could see Torn standing by his work, glaring at him, his eyes full of anger.

The Dæmon folded up his cloak and stuffed it into his satchel, closing the bag, "Sup."

"Why the Hell did you not tell me about your other half, Deitonin?!"

Here he goes again...

The Dæmon crossed his arms, sighing, "You know why..."

Torn fixed his glare on him.

Deitonin threw up a hand, "Look, I've been able to keep him under wraps for awhile now...It was your men who attacked me." Deitonin snarled, "That's suicide, especially when the moon is engorged...Our spirits come out of sync then."

Torn straightened, "Is that so? Well...I'll have to speak with my men, then."

"Well, it wasn't really a true attack...Fukushuu got us away before that." he said, "What'd they say about it anyway? Probably thought I was a new type of Metal Head..."

"No," Torn said, "They can tell the difference between man and Metalheads. They said a beast was roaming the streets with a young girl."

Deitonin slammed a fist on the edge of the map table and uttered a gruff snarl, his eyes flaring up gold, "Pathetic mortal...I'm more than a beast!"

The Dæmon grimaced and clutched his head as a migraine came on, "Hnnnng...Damn it...!"

Torn shook his head, sighing, "Keep that under control, okay?"

Deitonin narrowed his eyes at him, the gold still present, "Then lock me up when the full moon comes...The risk of harming your guards will disappear then..."

Torn paused. "I believe that if you aren't in the city when the full moon comes, I won't have to do that."

The Dæmon frowned, he didn't like how that sounded.

"I'm not saying you have to leave the city for good, just only when the full moon comes."

"I see..." Deitonin said, "And I was wondering...what'd you say to Rhi that made her so upset?"

Torn frowned and looked away.

The Dæmon glared at him and the lights and screens around them started flickering, "Torn...just tell me..." he thought about it for a few moments before sighing, "Actually...just you yelling at her is enough to upset her..."

Deitonin removed the hand he had on the map table and the lights stopped flickering.

The Dæmon sighed as he brushed his hair back from his face, "I'm exhausted..."

"Then go rest."

He nodded slowly, looking back as the elevator opened. Mae stepped out with Rhi behind her, the assassin still had her hood up, still cautious about entering the HQ.

Rhi stepped past and walked up to Deitonin, patting him on the arm, "Come on big guy...let's get you to bed."

He nodded, a small smile forming, "Aye..."

She looked back at Mae, "Wait here, I'll just be a moment."

She nods, "Okay."

Rhi led him down the hall to her room, "So tell me Dei, why'd you take her out with you instead of me?"

He sat down on the bunk, blushing, "Um...I thought I'd let you sleep..."

She reached out and gently pinched his cheek, "You've got a crush, don't you?"
