Seigona moved down the hall to where the others were, hiding his blush as he saw Luminektis again.

He looked to Seigona. "So how is he?"

"Asleep..." he replied looking away, "How's Rhi?"

"She'd sustained a couple cuts and a few bruises, but other than that she's okay."

"Understood..." he said, pulling a rag from his pocket to finally clean his axe, "Were you injured in any way...?"

He shook his head. "No, I was unharmed..."

He nodded, looking at his reflection in the axe before he went to cleaning the gore from the strings along the side of it, "That white haired one seems to cause you all some strife..."

"Saracktim has his mind set on making all of our lives a living Hell..." he said. "Especially Karramae's..."

"Then I'll just have to take care of that...my brother sure can't do it in his current state..." Seigona murmured, "But it makes me wonder just how two men of the same origin are on the side of the girl, this Karramae..."

He looked away. "Saracktim rules by force, propaganda, and mind-torture; he controls his army's mind. There were few, like my brother and myself, who saw past his lies and wanted to stop him...but most of them died...my brother and I are the only ones left of that legacy..."

"You went rogue..." Seigona burned the rag he'd cleaned Sounga with and holstered her, "I know of that well...my brother and I broke away from our father, who was a sadistic tyrant...but I'm afraid the torture we suffered affected Deitonin rather severely..."

"I see..." Luminektis said.

The Dæmon crossed his arms, sighing, "I'm sure you've seen it...seeing as you have that uneasy look to you..."

He looked away. "I guess your brother and I have a lot more in common than I thought..."

"Aye, you have that same feel to him..." he mused.

He sighed. "I took torture in place of my brother...he still blames himself for it..."

Seigona hesitantly reached out, setting a gentle hand on his shoulder, "It seems he isn't the only one feeling guilty..."

He looked to his hand, then to Seigona. "How so...?"

"Your emotions changed when you spoke of it..." he replied gently, "As did your body language."

He raised an eyebrow. "You're an observant man, aren't you?"

Seigona smiled, "I try to be..."

He looked to a door as it opened.

Seigona took this moment to watch the way the light reflected off Luminektis's hair.

Grivectous stepped out, immediately raising an eyebrow.

Seigona looked away, hiding a blush as he removed his hand.

He looked to Luminektis is suspicion.

The Dæmon casually cleared his throat, looking away.

Luminektis didn't seem to notice.

Seigona could feel the brother watching him still.

He finally stopped. "So how is she?"

"Karramae is fine..." he replied, "I healed her wounds when I found her."

He nodded. "Good."

He looked to Luminektis as he spoke, "Is Rhi awake?"
