He then stepped toward the edge, peering down to see a ledge several feet below.

Mae closed her eyes, holding on to him tightly.

He spread his wings and stepped off, gently gliding down to the ledge. It led into a rather large cavern that seemed vaguely familiar to him as he ducked inside.

Mae looked around. "Wow...It's beautiful in here..."

Deitonin walked deeper into the cave, summoning balls of blue fire to light their surroundings.

She rested her head on his chest. "I really like it here..."

"Yeah..." he said looking around.

She closed her eyes, relaxing.

Deitonin settled in a smoothed corner of the cave, holding her close.

Mae smiled, sighing.

Deitonin reached into his satchel and pulled out a thick wool blanket to stave off the cool breeze. He covered Mae and himself with it.

Mae looked up at him. "Thank you."

He nodded, snuggling closer.

She giggled softly, cuddling up with him.

He smiled.

Mae sighed. "This is nice..."

Deitonin looked out toward the mouth of the cave, "It really is..."

She smiled. "Just you and me...a cozy, warm blanket...snuggled up together..."

He smiled, but didn't know where this was going.

Mae rested her head against his chest. "Today seems like a perfect day..."

He stroked her hair, silently agreeing.

She sighed, smiling as she closed her eyes.

He looked down at her, then laid back as a thick bed of moss formed around them.

"It's so soft..." Mae murmured, stroking the moss with a hand.

Deitonin closed his eyes, sighing softly.

She looked up at him, smiling.

He looked down at her.

She leaned over and kissed him on the tip of his nose.

Deitonin's ears perked and he smiled.

Mae let her arms go around his neck.

He draped his arms around her waist.

She looked up into his eyes, smiling.

Deitonin smirked, placing a kiss on her cheek.

Mae giggled, giving him a gentle squeeze.

He returned the squeeze.

Mae smiled, laying her head on his chest.

Deitonin closed his eyes, shifting slightly to get more comfortable.

She sighed quietly.

"It's so quiet here..." he murmured.

"Yeah..." Mae paused. "I'm bored now..."

He opened his eyes, "Do you wanna go somewhere else then...?"

She shrugged. "Sure."

He placed the blanket back in his satchel, "We could visit Spargus...?"

Mae nodded. "Sure. Why not?"

Deitonin smiled, "Great."

She hugged him. "I'd go anywhere with you."
