Chapter - 13 (Vampire)

"Luke... open your eyes... please Luke... please..." Ivy was crying. 

"What happened?" Ashton suddenly appeared beside her and was already bending on Luke.  

"Luke... Luke..." she couldn't say anything else then that. 

"He is fine now. Let’s take him up stairs, shall we?" Ashton said and without waiting for her answer; he helped Luke up by pulling his arm and carried him with ease, he exited the study room's door.

Ivy got up quickly and followed him but he was nowhere, she ran towards the stairs but he was not there too. She climbed the stairs as fast as she could and reached attic, bursting through the door she found Luke on his bed and Ashton standing beside him, scowling at each other. She ran to Luke and cried "Luke... are you ok?" 

"I am fine Ivy, stop crying" Luke snapped. 

She stopped in her tracks, shocked by his rude answer. 

"Ivy, could you please get a glass of water for Luke?" Ashton requested her. 

"I don't want..." Luke started to deny but Ashton ignored him and said to Ivy "Please Ivy... can you get some water?" 

"I... I... sure" she stammered, confused between wanting to stay with Luke or go down to get water. Finally she thought maybe leaving him alone now was the best idea and she agreed to bring water. She could feel the tension between the two guys.  

She excused herself and went out. 

"What were you thinking?" Luke growled at Ashton. 

"What were I thinking!!! What were you thinking Luke? Why did you kissed her when you knew she is poisonous?" 

"How do you know that?" 

"Jake told us" 

"Great... what a nosey family I have"

"You mean loving family?" 

"Whatever..." Luke said rolling his and continued "But why did you gave me your blood in front of Ivy?"  

"What else should I have done? You needed blood to fight the poison" 

"But..." 

"Luke... you could have died" Ashton tried to state the fact. 

"I know... but What if Ivy would have seen it?" 

"She couldn't... I was careful"  

Luke got up from the bed and walked to the cupboards and pulled out a jacket, shrugging it on he turned and found Ashton laying on his bed. 

"Why are you getting comfortable on my bed?" He asked him. 

"Well... as you know Nash kicked me out from my own house... So I thought why not live with my best friend for some time" 

"No thanks... I don't need a babysitter" Luke grumbled. 

"You mean bodyguard" Ashton corrected. 

"Whatever... Now let's go and feed before I faint again"  

"You won't... Just don't kiss her" 

"That I can't wait to do again and again" Luke said remembering their awesome passionate kiss.  

"Then I should tell Ivy who you really are..."  

"Don't you dare open your mouth" Luke warned him and pulled open the door.
