Hey guys..., Here is the new chapter, I hope you will enjoy it.

Ivy came back in her parent’s room and flopped down on the bed. Luke's remark was playing in her mind over and over again 'I am too old to look for a soul mate' that were his exact words and it was an eye opener for Ivy.

It meant she and Luke were not soul mates, means one day they will also get bored and frustrated with each other? Could it be possible to hate Luke? No... It's won’t, she would never hate Luke, she loves him too much but what about Luke? Would he start hating her some day? She'll never know until that day comes.

All these thoughts made her restless; she wants to divert her mind from this topic. As it is it doesn't matter till the time they find a way to be together.

Suddenly she remembered the letters in dressing table's drawer.

She went to the dressing table and yanked the drawer open. There it lays along with the stack of pink smaller envelops.

Ivy carefully picked up the white envelope with her name written on it in her mother's hand writing.

Her heartbeats fasten with anticipation. Why her mother left a letter for her? Why couldn't she call her at Aunt Mary's farmhouse? The date on envelop mentioned was the same when her parents died in a car crash. Did she know what was going to happen that night? All the answers were here in her hand, in this envelop. Only she needs the courage to open this envelop and read the letter in it.

Taking a deep breath Ivy opened it with shaky hands and pulled out a folded single sheet. She started reading.

"My sweet baby Ivy,

First of all I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday baby. I wish you get all the happiness in your life.

Your father and I wanted you to celebrate your 22nd birthday with us, here at home but I knew you won't come. I know why you always avoid coming back but this is your house and your father and I want you to come back home.

Today I am going to tell you a secrete only your father and I know but no matter whatever the truth is, I want you to remember you are our child and always will be.

The truth is that I didn't give birth to you and we are not your biological parents. I am sorry that I didn't tell you this before; you can say that I have been selfish and it won't be wrong. From the moment Evelyn gave you to us, we fell in love with you and our love for you grew stronger day by day.

I wouldn't have told you the truth now also but your father and I think it's better to tell you now before it's too late.

Your birth mother was my friend Evelyn Solis she fell in love with a married man unknowingly and when she got pregnant, his wife came and threatened to kill Evelyn and her unborn child if he didn't go back with her.

Evelyn came back to town and lived here with us. But one day she came to know that her boyfriend's wife had killed him and was now looking for Evelyn and her child. Evelyn decided to go to her to prove that her child died at birth to save you. I don't know why but Evelyn believed there was no other option. We tried to stop her but she just left next morning leaving you with one letter and few other things. (The list of those things is attached with this letter and they are kept in my dressing table’s first drawer)

I hope you wouldn't hate us now that you know the truth. Please forgive your old mom and dad; we love you no matter what. Please come back home soon.

Love: Mom and Dad."

Tears streaming down her eyes as Ivy folded the paper again and pulled out the second sheet from the same envelop. It was a small single folded sheet which contained list of the items left with her by her birth mother.

A silver locket

A blue and silver jewellery box containing two items (A diamond necklace and a diamond ring)

Property papers

Adoption letter

Ivy folded and kept the letter and list back in the envelop and saw a beautiful silver jewellery box with hundreds of tiny roses engraved on it that studded with shiny blood stones. Ivy took it out and kept it on the table and opened it carefully. A beautiful diamond necklace and a beautiful diamond ring kept in separate compartments.

Both had unique rose shape diamonds. Ivy picked up the ring to take a closer look of the huge rose shaped diamond but as she touched it, the diamond's colour started changing from see through shiny stone to blood red and Ivy dropped it back in the box, shocked to her core.

Slowly she touched the necklace with her fingers and as her fingers touched the diamond roses it changed colour like the ring. Ivy pulled her hand back and closed the box.

Although she was scarred with the un-natural reaction of the strange diamonds of the necklace and ring but she couldn't deny the strong urge she felt to touch them.

She kept the box back in the drawer and picked up the pink stack of envelopes, most of them were from Evelyn to her mother Amy, confirming everything she has written in her letter to Ivy along with a first letter requesting Amy and Dave to adopt Ivy and raise her as their own daughter. Only the last one was sealed and with her name written on it. She opened it and started reading

"Dear Daughter Ivory,

You are reading this letter means Amy and Dave decided to tell you about me. I know you must really angry on Amy and Dave for hiding the truth from you for so long and on me for abandoning you, and you have every right to do so but believe me we had no other options.

Leaving you is going to be the most difficult part of my life but I know Amy and Dave will take good care of you and you will be safer with them then me.

I have made mistakes in my life that I am not proud of but it's not all my fault, my parents gave me a very big responsibility at very young age and I didn't take wise decisions for myself. That's why today your life is also in danger with me.

This is one of the reasons I want my friend Amy to adopt you and raise you as her daughter so you could have an ability to dream and follow them, make them true. Enjoy every day and every night without any fear, make friends, fall in love, get your heart broken, cry over it, forget it and fall in love again. Do everything that I couldn't.

I want you to live a normal life without any burden that's why unlike my parents I am not giving you any responsibilities so you can choose your own life. But never ever be careless and remember you are a very special child.

There are people, who may keep searching for you, so don't ever tell your true identity to anyone. Keep the jewels of life safe and it will help you greatly if you chose the right path and followed it.

Just remember, there is no pressure, always listen to your heart it will lead you in the right direction. I may not see you again but I wish with all my heart that you have a wonderful life.

Always with you, your mother... Evlyne Solis."

All this was too much for Ivy so she kept the letter back in envelope and kept it back in the drawer with other things and closed it. She came back to bed and flopped down on it. Now she was more confused and sadder than before.

Just half an hour back she was Ivy Whitson, daughter of Amy and Dave Whitson, and now she was Ivory Solis daughter of Evelyn Solis and her unknown boyfriend. She doesn't know what she was sadder about, she doesn't know her birth parents or her mom and dad wasn't her real parents?

And Evelyn written she was a special child, does she mean being poisonous is special? Well maybe for Evelyn but surely not for her, for her it was a curse that has ruined her life and may still ruin her future with Luke.

Ivy couldn't take it anymore so she stood up and left the room at once.

I hope you all liked it... Please let me know what you think of this chapter... Please vote and comment...:-)
