Chapter - 15 (Running away is not an option)

Hey guys... here is the new chapter and it is very long one. enjoy...:-))

Luke stared at Ivy unbelievingly...

"What...? Whole day I waited to have dinner with you and... And you destroyed everything... The food I prepared, the flowers, the candles and my mom’s best China ware" Ivy said remembering the mess he made of her perfect dinner table brought fresh tears in her eyes as images of her mother's favourite China ware flashed in her mind, which lay broken among the flowers and candles.

"Hey... Please don't cry sweetheart. I am so sorry... Is there nothing to eat now?" Luke said wiping her tears with his shirt.

That made Ivy smile as she said "Only some milk"

"Milk? Umm... How about hot chocolate?"

"That will be nice" she said and Luke kissed on the tip of her nose before jumping down from the bed saying "Wait here" and in a blink of an eye he went out of the room.

Ivy flopped down on his bed staring at the ceiling, preparing to wait for Luke but he came back in 5 minutes and offered her the glass of hot chocolate.

Shocked with his speed she just stared at him without taking the glass from him.

"Take it" he said smiling.

"How did you bring it so fast?"

"I am a vampire, remember?" he said and thrust the glass in her hand, commanding her mockingly "Drink now, you can stare at me afterwards"

Ivy stuck out her tongue at him and he winked at her wickedly, making her smile before she started drinking.

Ivy finished the hot chocolate and gave the glass back in Luke's waiting hands.

"More?" he asked.

"No, I am full"

"Good... Now take some rest. It has been a long day for you" he said, laying beside her and pulling her close. Ivy settled close to him, keeping her head on his chest. Now she really started feeling sleepy, listening to the rhythm of his heart beats, she slipped in blissful sleep, the minute she closed her eyes.

Next morning Ivy woke up on Luke's bed alone. She looked around but Luke was not there. She sat up and searched for a wall clock to see time but didn't find any in his room.

She stepped down of the bed and as she was about to check the bathroom for Luke, he came in through the door.

He came close and kissed her forehead, saying "Good morning sleepy head freshen up and come down for breakfast"

"You made breakfast for me?" Ivy asked surprised at his gesture.

"Yes... Come down quickly otherwise it will get cold" he said exiting the door.

"Five minutes" she said smiling as he went out.

Ivy reached down the stairs and was shocked to see the last nights mess was disappeared magically, leaving the dining room clean and without the dining table.

Luke was busy doing something on the kitchen counter, but sensed her presence and turned with a tray of pancakes and coffee in his hand "we have to eat on the couch, come" Luke said asking her to follow, he walked to the couch. Setting the try on the table he told her to sit and sat beside her.

"Here is your coffee and your favourite cinnamon pancakes" he said serving the breakfast.

"How you know, it’s my favourite?" Ivy asked smiling.
