(Late) Christmas Special (fluff + lemon)

A/N: I know this is posted after Christmas, but I still thought it was fitting for this time of year lol. Enjoy~

Y/N POV:

"Hey, baby? Can you hand me the red ornament with the snowflakes on it?"

I nod and hum in agreement, reaching down into the box and pulling out the ornament in question and handing it to C/N. He takes it with a quiet 'thank you', making sure the hook is secure before going on his toes and hanging it toward the top of the tree. As I reach down into the box again, my wedding ring glimmering in the shining of the soft Christmas lights and making me smile. 

I get an idea and look into the decoration box, lighting up when I see our mistletoe near the left side of the box. I carefully pull it out with my index finger & thumb, setting my eyes on an uncovered screw on a wall close by. I stroll over to the wall and loop the string over the screw, tying it together to hold up the mistletoe. I approach C/N and grab his hand, smiling at him lovingly and guiding him under the mistletoe. 

"Hello to you too, baby."

"You see what we're under right now?"

C/N looks around, evidently confused. I giggle quietly, amused by his perplexed expression. I use my free hand to point out the mistletoe I had hung up moments ago. He looks up at the decoration and focuses his eyes on me, letting out a warm laugh before leaning a bit closer to me.

"My sneaky, adorable little thing... When did you do this?"

I shrug a little.

"Just a few moments ago."

C/N leads me closer to him until we're standing chest to chest. He presses the smallest kiss to the tip of my nose before nuzzling his with mine lightly. He moves his hands from my hand and up from his side, using both of them to pull my bottom half against his with a fond grin.

"Okay, okay, I'll give you a proper kiss now."

C/N leans down and presses his lips against mine tenderly, unable to help but laugh against them. I end up joining him, returning his kiss gently. We separate after a few seconds of this, his forehead leaning against mine.

"We should go back to decorating the living room now, yeah?"

I nod slightly, kissing C/N's cheek before we both back up from one another. I go back to getting decorations from the box, pulling out a strand of gold tinsel. I see how tangled it is and I sigh to myself, taking the tinsel and sitting myself down on the couch. I slip my fingers through what holes in some of the knots that I can manage to fit into, attempting to untangle the thin strand of even thinner, gold-colored plastic. 

"Uhhh... Hey C/N?"

"What's up?"

"I need a little help untangling this tinsel. It's a complete mess."

"No problem at all, baby. Be there in a sec."

I hear C/N's footsteps nearing me from across the room until they stop directly next to me.

"Ooh, yeah. This is really tangled. No wonder you asked for help."

I simply nod, my fingers brushing against his as we both start untangling the string of tinsel together. 

~*mini time skip*~

I manage to partially undo another one of the tangles with C/N's help, slipping my hand through the open hole. He accidentally pulls on the tinsel string to untangle a different knot, tightening the tinsel around my wrist. I yelp quietly from surprise at the feeling, glancing down at my wrist. I notice him looking down at it out of the corner of my eye, his jaw dropping as he freezes in place.
