" Ashy Ashy Ashy wake up wake uppppp it's Christmas Eve your going to be late to your party." Lauren said with excitement. "Huh w-wai-wait what? Oh my gosh thanks sis gotta get ready your a life saver" A rushed Ashton said while trying to get his sister out of his room to get ready. Ashton quickly put on a sweater and jeans ruffled his hair some and went downstairs.
" Hi mum. hi Harry" Ashton said while quickly trying to get a quick bite to eat. "Hello honey I hope you have fun, tell the boys I said merry Christmas, oh and Ashton don't forget to put on your coat before you leave I don't want you to get sick." " Okay already got it mu, love you bye" Ashton replied while leaving the house.
As Ashton walked the long trek to Luke's house he couldn't help but be extremely anxious and excited to see what the boys got him and more importantly if they liked his gifts. Although Luke's house wasn't that far as he thought previously the cold made it feel much worse. Feeling as if his hands were going to fall off he finally reached Luke's house with all gifts in hand. "Knock knock.....knock.....knock." A few moments later go by and "ASHTON MERRY CHRISTMAS" the boys gleefully say inviting their freezing friend inside.
" H- h- hey g-guys it..... it's so c-c-cold outside" Ashton stuttered. Noticing his friend freezing Luke hands him some hot chocolate and a warm blanket. "Here mate you look like you definitely need this" "Thanks Luke" Ashton replied with a huge grin. Not even a minute went by when all of a sudden Michael bluntly asks. " Hey Ashton are those gifts for us?" " Yeah they are I hope you like them" Ashton hands the boys their gift individually and patiently waits for their reaction. " Dude thanks this is awesome I love it" an appreciative Luke says. " Whoa man this is freaking cool I love Green day thanks man." A fan boying Michael says. " Mate this is cool I'm such a nerd I love NASA stuff like this" Calum said.
"This is perfect I'm so happy they like everything I gave them, I wonder what they got me." Ashton thought as his friends were still admiring their gifts. Suddenly he snapped out of it when Calum said" Hey Ashton we're all poor and all of us got you a gift as a group we hope you like it" Calum handed Ashton a long box. As he opens it Ashton excitedly accidentally shouts " Oh my gosh you guys this is so cool my own drumsticks with my name on them, thank you so much." "No problem since you are our new drummer we thought you would need it also it was expensive as s.... to get" Michael admits. " You guys didn't have to do this, but thank you I'm just glad that I wasn't the only one who brought a gift. So did you guys get each other anything for Christmas?" Ashton asks curious. "Mate when we said we were broke we meant it we spent on our families and you, besides I hate these guys." Luke jokes.
After opening their presents the boys ate gingerbread cookies Luke's mom made, played some christmas songs, had a hot chocolate contest until Michael slightly burned himself, and watched the movie Elf. Five hours later all the other boys were leaving and Ashton left taking the long way home. ;) Although he was freezing he took this way so he could think more about the fun he just had and to appreciate the three great guys he had that he could call "Friends".
