Trust Issues

I quietly make my way over to the foot stand. Man am I starving. Didn't eat enough the last few days...wait what did I eat?

Haha nothing important.

I scanned over the food, my mouth watering at the smell. Steaks! Hmm.....

I grabbed a stake and added on my plate mashed potatoes with gravy mixed with corn (yum) and some peas in the little space left on my plate.

I sat at the table I was assigned and dug in. Colton awkwardly sat next to me making sure not to glance my way. I licked the gravy that somehow made its way out side my mouth. Man I'm a messy eater, how attractive.

I laugh at my own little joke making it way funnier then it actually was. Coltons eyes slowly made their way to me as I struggled to keep my mouth full still in my mouth. I swallowed quickly then started choking. By this time I gained the attention of almost everyone in the room (like 200 alphas and Luna's) and everything was quiet except my struggle to breathe. I took a drink of water, calming myself.

"Uhh.....sorry." I said in the quiet room. Everyone looked at me with smile on their faces and continued with getting their food.

"I'm a professional at making things awkward." I whispered to Colton. His face was emotionless.

"Colton." I said louder. "Cole." By this time I wished I had a stick that I could poke him with from under the table.

"Colton!" I said raising my voice he looked at me.

"What Cristina." He snapped. I made a funny face at his attitude, and I could see him have a hard time staying emotionless.

"I just wanted to say.... Your a king now." I said in a drunk voice.

Ok I will admit I have had a few glasses of wine, but it taste so good!

"Yeah I know." He said grumpily.

"That means we can DANCCCEE." I said drawing it out.

"We were always able to dance Cristina. How much have you had to drink." He asked concern coming through his emotionless face.

"Enough to know... That you need to lighten up. And your hot, did you alrighty know that?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Cris come on eat. It'll sober you up a little."

"I'm not hungry anymore." I smiled "Want to know a secret, I like you. A lot. So much I would die for you, and that scares me because I just met you a few days ago. I liked you since the beginning. Before I had me wolf."

"Me wolf?" He said making fun of me. He now had a full grin on his face.

"Yay!!! Your smiling!" He laughed, and again smiled a sweet smile. I smiled back showing all of me teeth.

"Your so beautiful. Why can't we be together?" He asked. My smile faded.

"Because you'll hurt me." My voice was just above a whisper. "I mean you alrighty have."

He looked hurt at me words and decided not to talk to me anymore. I was bummed out, wanting to talk to someone but I was only sitting by old people, and Colton. Does that make him old? Probably. He does have anger issues alrighty. Maybe he's hit menopause. Wait that's only for girls. Hmm....maybe he's on his man-period. Hahaha.

"Hey Cole, are you in your man period because you are really moody." I asked loudly. The old man next to me started chocking while bedtime else look uncomfortable.

"Yes Cristina I was wondering when you were going to find out." He said rudely.

"Well you don't have to be such a jack Daniels!"
