It was 3 am and I couldn't sleep at all. I decided to go to the kitchen and get a small snack. As I was looking through the fridge, I noticed a chocolate bar hidden behind the gallons of milk. I chuckled "Mello, you thought you can hide this chocolate bar from me?" I grabbed the chocolate bar and headed for my room. As I was walking down the hall I swear I heard footsteps behind me. I immediately stopped walking and stood still, listening closely.

Nothing.

"I guess it was just my imagination." I thought. I shrugged it off and continued walking. It was probably my own footsteps. I'm so stupid.

The moment I stepped forward I heard those footsteps again. Except they didn't stop when I stopped. I immediately panicked and started walking a little faster. But the faster I walked, the faster the footsteps behind me became. I started running towards my room, running as fast as I could. I was determined to get away from whoever was following me.

I was in front of my bedroom door now. I tried pushing the door open but it was locked. That one time I lock it when I'm not inside...

I struggled with grabbing the keys from my pocket. I was terrified, I could feel whoever was following me getting closer. But what was strange was that I couldn't hear the footsteps anymore.

I was suddenly pinned up against the closed door, dropping the chocolate bar onto the floor. I had my eyes closed. I didn't want to see whoever was holding me hostage.

"(y/n)."

Huh? How does this person know my name? They sound like a guy... Their voice is familiar. Too familiar.

"(y/n) look at me."

I opened my eyes, surprised to see the person in front of me. I gasped. "Mello" I whispered. I could see Mello smirking slightly. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME." I yelled, kicking Mello in his sensitive spot. He immediately let go of me and fell to the ground. "What the fuck was that for!?" He squeaked. I could feel my face burning up with rage. "YOU FUCKING PINNED ME TO THE DAMN DOOR!!" Mello just stared at me. He then stood up and looked at me. He was a few inches taller than me so I had to look up at him. "Well I wouldn't have pinned you to the door if you didn't steal my chocolate bar." He said. I stayed silent. "Well I was hungry and I was craving chocolate." I finally said. Mello said nothing. There was silence. Mello then chuckled. "So you were craving chocolate?" He said, breaking the silence. I just nodded. What Mello did next surely surprised me.

Mello kissed me.

I was shocked. I never thought Mello would ever kiss me. Heck, I didn't even think he'd like me! I hesitated but eventually gave in to the kiss. I felt Mello smile after realizing I was kissing him back. He immediately deepened the kiss afterwords. His lips tasted sweet. They taste like chocolate. I liked it.

Mello pinned me to the door again, not breaking the kiss. He then licked my bottom lip, practically begging for entrance. I denied. He tried again and got frustrated after a while because I would always deny him. He got tired of me teasing him and bit my lip. I gasped and he took the chance to stick his tongue in my mouth and explore inside.

After a while of making out Mello and I pulled away, panting from the lack of air we received. We took in deep breaths and looked at each other. Mello was smirking. "I had 3 chocolate bars earlier." He said, still smirking. That explains why his lips and mouth tasted sweet. I couldn't help but smile. "Typical Mello." I said while laughing lightly. Mello picked up the chocolate bar that was on the floor and handed it to me. "You can keep it. I have plenty of more in my room." He kissed my cheek and started walking to his room, which was across the hall, 6 rooms away from mine. Before he could get any further away he said "Consider it a gift! Cuz there's no way I'm allowing you to take my chocolate away again." Afterwords, I heard him yell "I'll see you later, (y/n)! Sweet dreams!" I smiled. "Goodnight, Mello." I whispered, unlocking the door to my room while devouring the chocolate bar I 'stole' from Mello.
