A/N: Just gonna warn you right now before you start reading, there is gonna be a bit of lime. Don't worry, it won't turn into lemon and I'm not planning on writing any lemon chapters any time soon. Enjoy! :)
Edit: I fixed a few things like grammar and spelling errors so hopefully the story now makes sense.Tick Tick, Tick Tick
It was a late Saturday night, and once again I had nothing to do.
Tick Tick, Tick Tick
What a surprise, isn't it?
Tick Tick, Tick Tick
I was laying on my bed staring at the ceiling. Something I tend to do when I'm bored and have no plans.
Tick Tick, Tick Tick
'What am I going to do?' Is a question I find myself asking multiple times.
Tick Tick, Tick Tick
"Ugh!" I yelled, getting up and slamming the clock against the floor, breaking it into smaller pieces. "You're so annoying!" I kicked the clock and dropped to the ground in anger. "Stupid, stupid, stupid clock!"
"Ahem."
I heard a cough coming from the doorway, making my head jerk towards the direction of the sound.
"What a shame.... I kinda liked that clock."
I sighed and stood up, brushing dust from my shorts then looking up at Mello with my arms crossed. My cheeks were burning from embarrassment. Had he seen my fit just a moment ago?
"What are you doing here?" I asked. "Oh nothing, I just had nothing to do so I decided to come and bother you." I rolled my eyes and sat on my bed, then patted the spot beside me. "Well, are you just going to stand there or are you going to come in?" Mello stood in his spot, hummed and cocked his head to the left. "I think I'm going to stand here," he responded. I sighed and puffed my cheeks.
I looked down at my feet. Out of instinct, I started to swing my legs. Left, right, left, right, left, right. I looked back up and saw Mello staring at a picture I had hanging on the wall. It was a picture of a teen L and a 8 year old me holding hands. It was one of my favorite memories of L. Now he's too busy to even stop by to say hello. Oh how I miss him.
"Mello?" I called out. The strange blond quickly turned to face me. "Huh?" He said. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you really here for?" Mello raised his eyebrows and chuckled. He stood up straight and crossed his arms. "Really, there's no actual reason," he said. Mello closed the door and started walking towards me, slowly. "Maybe I just wanted to see you," he said, smiling. I gasped lightly and could feel my cheeks burning up again. I faced away from Mello and breathed in. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out. I turned to face Mello again and locked eyes with him.
Mello continued walking towards me at a really slow pace. What was he going to do? I don't really trust him.... I wonder what could be on his mind.
As he got closer and closer, I started to back up away from him until my back touched the wall. Mello was now standing in front of me with a blank expression. It was never easy to tell what he was thinking. Mello climbed onto the bed and continued coming towards me. "M-Mello. W-what are y-you d-d-doing?" My heart was beating faster as each second passed by. I waited for the boy in front of me to respond.
Mello didn't answer.
He was now right in front of my face. The chocolate loving blond leaned closer to me, so that I could feel his body heat. I gasped. What is he going to do!? Oh no, it better not be what I think it is. I looked up and saw Mello staring at my lips, which made me blush a dark shade of red. He then got close enough so that I could feel his breath. "(Y/N)," he whispered. I let out a shaky breath. Is this really happening? Is Mello really going to kiss me?
