Angel's pale hazel eyes lingered on the sky above him. The daylight had faded. The clouds were beginning to part. In just a few minutes a full moon would dawn on him. When that happens Raven will...

"I should go," Claire rose to her feet after sitting with her sister. "The Full Moon will be out soon and if I don't get to my cave before then. Bad things will happen. I mean," She chuckled. "One werewolf trying to kill you is bad enough." Both Raven and Angel glared at her. "Too soon, I know." She added. "Angel, are you sure this is what you want? You can still run and come back when the full moon is gone."

"I can't leave her," Angel answered. "The twins and Brandon all know where we are at. There's a chance that if I leave Raven alone in the woods. They will come and kill her. I have to protect her." He ran his fingers through Raven's hair.

"I know that but who's going to protect you," Claire replied. "Think it over, there's still time." She started to walk off.

"Sister, Jay saved your life." Raven pointed out. "At the expense of letting the man who killed their parents go. You should be nicer to him or at least thank him." She advised.

"I planned on it," Claire answered. "Jay's a good friend. Maybe, I should have chosen him instead but I'm with Brandon. Jay's with Alexis. We both made our choices. Now, we just have to live with it. I should go, " She left the two of them alone in the woods together.

Angel's eyes returned to the sky. The dark clouds parting were but a timer in his eyes. It was counting down until Raven's transformation . When the full moon reaches its peak. Raven will become a savage beast and try to take the life of the first person she sees...him. There are no words to describe the fear that coursed through his body with each passing second. A fear that no matter how strong it was. He could not show it. For if he did, it would only make Raven more afraid of what she would do to him. He needed to be strong for her sake.

"Angel, my love," Raven held him tight. "There's still time, you have to leave. I don't want to hurt you." Tears fled her eyes as she buried her head on his chest. "Please," She balled up her hands. "Go," She shoved him off her.

"Raven, I'm not leaving you." Angel argued. "If I leave Lord Alexander might send people to kill you. Lord Grimm might even be willing to do the same. They know where we are and I refuse to let anyone hurt you again. I'm here now and," He paused for a moment. "I am not leaving." He raised his voice at her. "Even if you turn and try to kill me. I will not leave your side. Not again."

"Why are you yelling at me?" Raven eyes began to build up tears. "I'm only trying to protect you. Damn it, Angel." Tears burst from her eyes. "I'm pregnant you can't yell at me. My body is going through a lot of changes. You don't even understand and you're yelling at me." She continued crying.

"Raven, sweetheart, I didn't mean to yell." Angel placed both of his hands on her shoulders. "I'm sorry, come here," He kissed the top of her head and held her close to his chest. "It's just you mean so much to me. The thought of leaving you here by yourself. I can't imagine it. I need to be right here with you, no matter what," He wiped the tears from her eyes. "I," He wanted so desperately to say the words she needed to hear. Raven's beautiful dark blue eyes were looking directly at him. Searching for the words, begging him to say them. The words were caught in his throat but would not surface. He was afraid to speak them. Afraid to tell her how he felt. Scared that if he did, he'd lose her. So like a coward, he said nothing like he always does.

"You're a pathetic coward." Angel thought to himself. "Why can't you for once in your life. Just tell her what you've wanted to tell her since the first day you laid eyes on her. You pathetic sad excuse for a man." He gritted his teeth. "Damn it, why is this so fucking.."
