Together, the two sisters Raven and Claire proceeded into the forest of wolves. They could see several werewolf scouts on patrol. Some were hiding among the many trees that surrounded them. Raven continued to follow the scent of wolves, she figured the stronger the scent the closer she was to finding Lord Grimm.

"Raven," Claire stopped. "We're getting deeper into the forest, I should have probably told you this before but. I didn't think it would stop you." She turned to face her sister. "Jay said that vampires tend to attack here." It was hard for her to even imagine vampires attacking here with all these werewolf scouts lurking the area. Unless they found some way to conceal themselves from the scouts, it would be impossible.

"Are you sure?" Raven wondered. "What if Jay told you that to make you reconsider going?" She crossed her arms. "Still, it wouldn't hurt to be cautious. There is a chance Jay's right, he's not exactly known for being wrong."

"My thoughts exactly," Claire walked beside her. "Let's keep our guard up just to be safe." Raven unleashed her claws carrying on into the forest with her sister. While they walked together, she listened to sounds of the forest, birds chirping, several rabbits scurrying about nothing out of the ordinary. She sniffed the air, the trees smelled of pine, the air carried the scent of wolves, they were getting closer.

Meanwhile, Patience continued through the forest making haste toward Lord Grimm's castle. Her stomach started to rumble and ache for nourishment. She stopped to settle her hunger. She knew better than to feed, if she did, it would make her death more painful. Her death would be guaranteed the moment she came face to face with Lord Grimm. He would show her no mercy, she'd disappear just like her sister Selene wanted.

Patience glanced behind a tree to check for any more scouts. She owed a lot to the cursed tag that Angel made for her for emergencies. The tag once placed on any part of her body blocked out her scent. That topped with her special perfume that caused her to share the exact same scent as a werewolf made it easy for her to get past the scouts.

"All clear," Patience let out a sigh of relief. The curse on her forearm faded, she made it just in time. She went to reapply a stronger dose of her perfume. Her stomach started to ache once more. She couldn't allow herself to feed. She wanted her death to be quick and painless for that to happen she had to be in a weak state. If only her body understood that, she settled her stomach. "I'd better hurry," She knew if she didn't Brandon would catch up to her. If he were to get caught up in this, he would die as well. – Huh? – Patience felt a hand grab her shoulder. This hand, it was Brandon's.

"Patience," Brandon pulled her to his chest. "What were you thinking running off by yourself like that?" He hugged her. "You had me worried sick, I thought that I was going to lose you." She took notice of the curse which faded on his forearm. Angel must have given him a tag as well.

"I'm sorry," Patience apologized. "Selene was right about me. I'm only causing you and Selene trouble. I can't be strong like either of you." She stepped back. "I should just disappear like she said, it's what's best for you and her."

"What are you saying?" Brandon asked. "You might not be the best when it comes to combat. You are the best healer we have. Who's going to heal me after I get into a fight with Ziek if not you?" He offered. "I seriously doubt Selene will besides she's not as good at healing as you are." That's true, Patience's lips formed a smile. "Now forget what Selene said who cares what she thinks. I sure don't." He reached into his coat pocket. "Now drink up," He held out a blood pack. "I'm going to need you at full strength if we're going to succeed in the mission."

"Thank you," Patience accepted the blood pack. She opened it, taking a few drinks of it. "You should probably lead the way while I recover." She continued to drink from the blood pack while Brandon proceeded further into the forest. The scouts were nowhere in sight, so luckily for her the scent of blood wouldn't reach their keen noses. Still, she couldn't deny the fact that Brandon is heading toward his death.
