The Darkness

It's too dark to see,
And I'm too dark to care.

I can no longer fight,
For what was never there.

I'm tired and broken,
The flame has died within.

You are moving too far away,
I can no longer breath you in.

Now I'm walking down,
This road of broken dreams.

Seeing your lonely figure standing still,
Waiting for a soul to step in.

A lone tear finds it's way to my chick,
Knowing by now that the soul you are waiting for,
Does no longer belong to me.
