"Anteiku?" Hide asked. "Yes." You opened the door and Hide put Kaneki's body on the ground. You sat in a chair trying to keep still. "I think it's going to take two of my lives to heal this one...*cough *" Blood dripped from your mouth and your sight started to get blurry. "Damn.." Hide came to you with a wet washcloth and cleaned up your blood. Your wound was already smaller. You stayed still until it was officially heald. "3" Hide held his head down low. "I'll go make some coffee." Hide said. Kaneki started to move and open his eyes. You sat next to him. "Kaneki.." "Anteiku? (F/n)?" You grabbed his hand and placed it on your cheek. "Mhm." You gave him a smile.
The sound of coffee being maid caught his attention. "Making coffee is harder than it looks, I admit." Hide came into the light as Kaneki got up. Kaneki's eyes widen at the sight of Hide. "Yo, Kaneki." "Hide.." He quickly covered his ghoul eye. Hide put the coffee near Kaneki. "Just warning you. It may not taste that good." Hide took a sip of his coffee and hissed at the horrible taste. "Yeah sorry kaneki! This one taste bad as well. " Kaneki didn't move his hand. "Kaneki..I knew." Kaneki looked at Hide with shock. "Yeah I knew. You know you've become famous Kaneki. " Hide put his hand over his left eye. " 'Eyepatch' they call you!" Kaneki started laughing and Hide did too but not as much. Hide had a painful face and fell to his knees holding his stomach. "Hide?!" You said worried. "Hide....?" Kaneki kneeled down and caught Hide be for he fell. "I might have messed up out there."
"Hide..you cared for both of us even when your hurt worse. We can heal our wounds. " "Y-yes but, you lose a life when you do.." Kaneki looked at you and you couldn't meet his eyes. "I had 9 lives..now I only have 3.." You said. Kaneki looked away and Hide's condition was getting worse. "Your okay, Hide." Hide looked at him. "No I'm not."
"Kaneki..Let's go home."
