Total silence fell in the room. Kaneki started to get worried that you would reject him. A few tears dropped at your feet, but they weren't tears of sadness, they were tears of joy. You gave him a warm smile and hugged him tightly making you both fall back. "Yes!" You said kissing him. Kaneki had a big smile and kissed you back.
He placed the ring on your finger and you couldn't help but admire it. You both decided to tell everyone about the news and they were all happy for you. For the past few weeks you and Kaneki have been looking at rings for when you do get married. You would also spend time with Touka-chan finding your wedding dress. " Touka-chan? What about this one?" You said picking out a white dress with flower crown veil. The dress had tiny sown in red stems that they look as if as they were growing from the bottom of your dress and wrapped around you. Touka-chan nodded and you went to go put it on.
After a few minutes of trying to fit your self in, you came back out and showed it to her. "Well?" You asked sinning around to show her all of it. "It's very beautiful, (F/n) " She smiled. You looked in the mirror and frowned. I won't look as good though.. by the time we do get married, you will definitely be able to see the baby's bump." You muttered. "It's okay, Kaneki will still love you no matter what." She said putting her hand on your shoulder.
"It know. " You know started to feel sad. "The mood swings must be starting. " You kinda chuckled. A few more weeks have past and you only had to wait 3 more until you get married. You and Kaneki found rings for each other and hid them away for safe keeping. Both you and Kaneki were laying down in bed talking about your baby. People could definitely notice that you were pregnant now. You would consistently frown at your self in the mirror trying to make your self look some what better. Kaneki didn't care what you looked like. He still loved you and you were going to be his bride. "So if it is a boy what do you want to name him?" You asked Kaneki. "Um..Hikari is a good name. " He said scratching his cheek. " Mhm..I like it. I think I've heard it before but I can't remember."
"It was when I was reading to you the new Takatsuki Sen book you got me. That name was mentioned once or twice. " He said. "Oh yeah.." You facepalmed yourself. "What about a girl? " Kaneki asked you. You thought for a moment. "I like Reed. I was supposed to have a younger sister but she didn't make it out so well. My mom was going to name her Reed." Kaneki kissed your forehead. "I like it."
~Three weeks later~
Kaneki stood at the altar with Nishki, Uta, and Ayato behind him.
He was wearing a white tuxedo with a white vision of his mask around his neck. Little Hinami-chan was the flower girl and she spread red and white flower petals on the ground. Touka-chan and Kimi held the back of your vail as you walked down the Isle with Yomo since you didn't have a father. You finally made it to where Kaneki was and began the session. After you two said your vows, Hinami-chan and Uta handed you two the rings. You placed them on each others finger and continued. "Ken Kaneki, Do you take, (F/n) (L/n) to be your wife, for to love and to hold?" The preacher said who was also a ghoul. "I do." Kaneki smiled not looking away once from your beautiful (e/c) eyes. "(F/n) (L/n), Do you take, Ken Kaneki to be your husband, for to love and to hold?" He asked you. "I do." You said back. "You may kiss the bride." The Preacher smiled. Kaneki pulled you close and gave you a deep, passionate kiss. Everyone clapped and cheered, even Ayato.
You broke away so you could breath and Kaneki picked you up bridle style and headed out the door.
