Sasaki sat yup quickly sweating and painting. He rubbed his eyes. "Ugh..it was just a dream. Kaneki.. could he be who I was 20 years ago?" (If you don't understand. In the manga, sasaki thought he was a ghoul investigator for most of his life when really it was maybe a year or so) sasaki noticed a flower vase on the table near him. He thought for a moment and put on his coat.
You sat in your room playing a board game with Hikari and Reed.
*clank* a tiny rock hit your window. *clank* you looked outside not letting any one who was there see you. "It's him.." You growled. Both Hikari and Reed rushed to the window and opened it. "Mommy doesn't want to see you!" Hikari yelled. "I understand that, but can I please just say something?" Sasaki yelled back. "Mommy?" Reed asked looking back at you. "Let him speak." You sighed. "What is it?!" Reed asked Sasaki. Sasaki sighed. "I'm sorry for what happened yesterday! I have no intention to take your children away from you. I wanted to see if you would go get some coffee with me!" He said holding up a bouquet of flowers. "Baka! We just met two days ago and your already asking me out on a date?! Besides! It's 8 at night!" You said looking out the window now.
"Don't you believe in love at first sight? Hehe.. please let me try again." He scratched his cheek. You remembered how you used to feel that way to Kaneki when he first crossed your path. "Mommy's thinking hold on." Hikari commented. "Fine. But I have to get Hikari and Reed to sleep first." You said rubbing there heads. "I can help with that if you want? I'm good with children." He commented. "Alright, come in." You opened the door and let him in.
It took 45 minutes to put them down to sleep. You put on a pair of black jeans and t-shirt. You also put on Kaneki's old blue jacket. You brushed your hair and put a little bit of eyeliner on. You looked in the mirror and headed out the door to the living room.
He studied your outfit and blushed a little. "You look nice." He said. "Thanks. You too." He held out his arm and you slowly took it. " I know this great coffee shop near here." He said. "Oh?" "Yeah and the waitress is very nice." He smiled. He took you to a tiny café named :re. As soon as you walked in, the smell of coffee hit your face bring a tiny smile to your lips. "Hello Sasaki. Nice to see you here again. Oh! (F/n)?" The waitress looked at you in shock. "Huh? Touka-chan?" You both stood there in shock. "Well it seems like you guys already know each other. " Sasaki said walking to a seat. You followed behind him. "Touka-chan! On cappuccino please. Because you know I like your coffe latte!" You cringed at his horrible pun. "That was bad." You comment.
Touka-chan laughed at your honest response. "A cappuccino too please." You ordered for your coffee. You and Sasaki talked about each others past and what your interest are. Sasaki kept telling horrible puns that you secretly liked. Around 10, he took you home. "Thank you, Sasaki. I really enjoyed that." You said. "I had a great time, too. I hope to do it again some time. " He laughed. "Maybe we will." You kissed his cheek making him blush. You stopped and went inside, closing the door. You held your face in your hands and slid your back down the door. "What am I doing? I love Kaneki. But, he's so much like Kaneki in everyway. What am I going to do? I need you Kaneki.."
