Beaten, Bruised, and Kissed

Hey guys.

So you may or may not have noticed that fact that I basically went MIA this summer and I wanted you guys to know that it wasn't for the usual "it's summer and I'm on summer brain" excuse.

Since I don't REALLY know any of you, I won't go into specific detail, but just know I've had a "disease" since I was 13. It's not actually a disease but more like a abnormality with my body. Anyways, in the beginning of the summer, I was told that I had worsened to the point where I was in danger and could possibly need surgery. My mom didn't want that for me because if I got the surgery, I wouldn't be able to do some key things in my life that I can do now. So she went searching and found a chiropractic doctor that specifies in helping "cure" what I have.

The sessions are very time consuming. I have to do it many times a week for an indefinite amount of my life. The quantity of sessions will lessen over time, but that's besides the point. I became so busy with this that writing completely slipped from my mind.

Not only that but I also asked this girl whom I've known for over a year to be my girlfriend. She is amazing and I'm so lucky to have her. For those who know what relationships are like, they can be very time consuming in the best way possible.

With these things coming into my life and being in a musical, I had barely any free time.

So for those of you wondering, I'm not dead, I've not been kidnapped, I'm alright (for the most part), I've not left this book behind to die a "to be continued..." death.

However, as school is fast approaching, I must mention something. Last year I had a class where I was getting an easy A and I did most of my writing in. Now, I have upgraded that class so it will challenge me and I will actually have to concentrate. I will do my best to write when I can, but I am making no promises.

I will eventually finish this book. I will eventually finish many more books. Time is my enemy but I will fight an honest battle.

Thank you for worrying and/or caring if you did. If not, I started writing the next chapter before I found out the possible surgery news and will try to work on it. Keyword "try".

Love you all so much. Oh! And thank you for over 600K views for "Abused, Mute, and Human"!! I honestly can't believe that it's gotten that far. You guys are starting to make me think I will actually have to edit and self publish it. Mind you, I would enjoy doing so.
