"Either you're going to shoot us or you're not. The ball always lands on red or black, never both." V. Alexander
Ryder's P.O.V
The sky is a gray despair and the streets a sad song. My body is weak with sleep deprivation and hunger. I have not stopped searching since I arrived. Her scent weakens as every second passes along with any hope I have left.
Suddenly my wolf perks up and directs me down a random street. I do not fight his control as we both want the same thing.
"Must find mate," Raudolf whimpers.
I take the turns he guides me through and after a long walk and several rights and lefts, I'm stopped in front of a hotel, Roma tor Vergata. Inhaling her scent, I take control again and follow my nose.
The hotel was full of noisy patrons distracting anyone who would try to stop me. I take the stairs and use my senses as a searching device. The smell gets stronger until I arrived at the 6th floor where it was slightly weaker. Smiling at this discovery, I heard through the doors leading me to the 5th floor. My sense radar takes me straight to the right room, 528.
"What now dumba**," Raudolf mocked me.
I don't know, I haven't thought that far ahead.
Panicked, I scanned the hallway for a way in and as if the Moon Goddess was looking down on me with pity, the elevator rang and a housekeeper rolled her cart onto the floor. Perfect!
As she wields her cart towards her first stop, a couple of her toiletry items falls to the ground I rushed over towards her to feign care for the situation, I handed her the items and flash my winning smirk that has been known to make women swoon. I hope Tiana understands why I'm doing this. I don't care about this lady whatsoever.
"Here you are," I grazed my fingers through her hair after she grabbed the items from my hand. She shivered in pleasure. I wish Tiana reacted this way to my touch."Maybe you could help me out here," I whisper in her ear, blowing hot air along with my words. "I seemed to have misplaced my key. A woman of your means surely knows how to fix such an issue," she giggled at my compliment. She nods her head and I lead her to Tiana's room. Using her all-around key, the door buzzes as it unlocks and lets me in. I thanked her and begin my search. She is nowhere to be found, but one thing caught my eye.
A round object peaks out from under the bed. I lift up the comforter and am faced with one of her snow globes that was missing from her shelf. Picking it up, I notice it is the globe of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. This must be where she is going next.
I hurried out of the room, looking up tickets online and feeling my heart pound as I feel myself getting closer and closer to finding her.
Pauwau's P.O.V
I step off the plane and scowl at my surroundings. I hate traveling. Walking through the streets like I own every piece of gravel I touch, I look for a place to decompress before the main event. Stopping at the nearest luxury hotel, I flash my black card and employees rush to my side to aid me in anything I desire. That's more like it.
I'm shown to my room where I set up my cauldron and take out my spell book. My fingers graze the vial, my weapon and smile content. There's a rush flowing through my body, excited to finally avenge my lost family. I have been waiting for a chance like this for centuries. It's finally my turn to give this world some h*ll.
