You sighed frustratedly at the piece of paper in front of you.

"Stupid math. It's not like a speed limit sign is honna be like 'find x to solve for the speed limit'!"

Your best friend (and math genius), Simmons, was watching you rant.

You put your head in your hands, grabbing your (h/c) hair.

Simmons leaned over. "What problem are you stuck on?"

You pointed to 11.

"Ah. These are easy, once you get used to them."

You sighed. "Yeah, well I'm not used to 'em."

He handed you a paper that said "Pemdas".

"Go in order of what it says in the paper. Do what's inside the parenthesis, then do the exponents, then multiply - or divide - in order. Adding and subtracting is the same way."

You did that and showed it to him and he nodded.

"Good. Now keep that paper for the future." Simmons said.

"Okay." You smile a little and he smiles back.

Simmons got up and started walking towards the door. "Gotta get home or else my parents'll freak."

You nod. When he was at the door, you called out, "Simmons, wait!"

You ran up to him as he turned around.

"Can... Can you be my... Tutor, I guess?"

"Sure, (y/n)."

You hugged him, not wanting him to go. Eventually you pulled away.

"Bye Simmons."

"Bye (y/n)." He said as he left.

You returned to doing your homework, although you kept getting sidetracked thinking about Simmons's next visit.

Again, sorry if it's bad. My brain has decided "Hey, let's make it so Snowix can't think!"
