Chapter 22

First off HOLY 6000 FOLLOWERS BATMAN!!!! Thank you!! That was soooooo cool to see! I can't believe that I have that many followers! Too bad I couldn't get all of you to comment! Man, my stories would be blown out of the water!!!!

Again please do not comment asking me when I'm updating or to "Please update" those comments hurt me as a writer! I will be blocking everyone that sends comments and messages like that. I have spent my time since the update of the last chapter of SSL cleaning up all of my stories. I have all of them edited and now I have all the hateful comments deleted. Granted it brought the comment count down I am okay with it because it makes my stories look better.

No time jump in this chapter, well there will be a slight one in the middle but we're starting right where we left off. This is gonna be starting the next morning where Norman introduces Vi to Mingus and she gets to meet Helena as well. We'll see how this goes ;-)

I hope all of you are excited for this next chapter like I am! Just a little insight on this story, this story is based right after BDS II wrapped and they're promoting it at cons before it comes out in 2009. BDS II came out December 11th of 2009. This is right before Norman gets the pitch for Walking Dead season 1. So that's why he's "shooting" this fake movie with Vi in the story. With that being said though it makes Norman 40 (his birthday will come up in this story) and this makes Mingus 9 almost 10. His birthday is in October. Vi just turned 30. I'm basing this story around August time. Just to give you guys a little bit more into the story so you can kind of follow. Mingus is younger in this story than what he was in LOTE so there will be more "kid like" bonding and the major dad side of Norman will be coming out since Mingus is younger and can't do everything for himself.

Anyway, I felt like that was a long winded answer but I am hoping that it answers some confusions :-)

I woke up what seemed early the next morning, but when I rolled over and clicked the button on my phone to see what time it was I was shocked to see that it was a little after ten in the morning. I couldn't remember the last time I had slept that way, uninterrupted at that.

I sat up slowly and stretched while yawning before throwing the covers back and shifting my feet to dangle towards the floor. I grabbed my glasses from the nightstand and slid them on not even wanting to deal with my contacts this morning.

I glanced in the mirror and pushed my hair back out of my face before opening the bedroom door hunting for Norman seeing as he wasn't in the bedroom. I walked out into the hallway and saw that the bathroom door was open so I only assumed that he wasn't in there.

I sighed softly and walked out into the living room finding that Norman wasn't in there either. I could smell the coffee from the kitchen so I at least knew that he was still here. I decided to be nosey and help myself to a cup of coffee. When I turned around I saw the curtains moving slightly in the breeze meaning the sliding glass door was open.

I moved the curtain to the side and stepped out on the patio instantly being met by the warm sun and cool breeze. That's when I saw Norman sitting in one of the lounge chairs. He had a cup of coffee in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and he had his signature black Raybans on.
