*Violet's POV*

I woke up the next morning feeling more refreshed than ever. I felt warmth beside me and it made me instantly smile. Norman and I had ordered take out and spent the day getting me settled into his apartment while Eye in the Dark ran around and played.

I sighed contently and snuggled into Norman's arms more. When his arms squeezed me tightly I knew that he was awake. I took my time rolling over and when my eyes met his sleepy ones, I smiled. He instantly smiled back at me before leaning forward and giving me a short kiss.

"I could wake up like this every day," Norman said causing my smile to grow. His arms pulled away from me and I instantly missed the warmth. "Me too," I said before sitting up in bed and stretching. I grabbed my glasses and slid them on before grabbing a hair tie and throwing my hair up in a messy ponytail.

Norman's eyes followed me the whole time. "We need to discuss some things," I said. Norman instantly sat up and his arm came around me. "What's up?" he asked me. I looked around at the three empty suitcases that we had left in the floor after being too tired to figure out what to do with them.

"I don't have that much stuff. Matt will be expecting me home soon," I said feeling my voice grow soft. Matt knew how long I was going to be gone and I knew my time was basically up and soon he would be hunting me down. Norman's arm tightened around me.

"It's okay. You will be safe here. Between Flanery, Clark, and me we will take care of you," he said. I sighed slightly. "What about all my stuff at my house? My clothes, my guitars, my dog," I said my voice trailed off again. "You had a dog?" Norman asked me.

I nodded. "He was my best friend and he always tried to protect me when Matt was up to no good. I'm surprised Matt never tried to kill him while I was always gone working on music or movies, but every time I came back he was always at the door to meet me," I said.

Norman squeezed me slightly. "It's okay. You don't have to go back there. We'll all make sure of it. And hell we'll buy you new everything! I don't care how much it costs. We'll even get a dog if that makes you feel better," Norman said. I could tell he was trying to cheer me up and it was only helping a little.

I felt myself tearing up. "Thank you," I whispered while kissing his cheek. I climbed out of bed and grabbed a change of clothes. "I'm going to take a shower," I said before heading into the bathroom and shutting the door. It felt good to finally be able to relax.
