It was six in the evening and mom hadn't been home yet; I was starting to get worried.
I sat in an eerie silence on the couch until I heard a car pull up into the driveway. I looked outside to see my mother, but something was off.
I quickly grabbed my angel blade, and some salt; just to be safe.
Please don't let it be what I think it is.
Mom made her way through the door, but she was acting very strange.
"Mom," I asked. "Are you okay?"
She slowly turned towards me with a grimace placed on her face.
"Mom can't make it to the family right now," she said as her eyes went black.
She charged at me, and beat me senseless.
Halfway through the beating, she suddenly stopped and pulled something out of her pocket.
"You need to call this number," she told me as her eyes returned to normal. "It's your father."
Her eyes went black again. "That was a close one."
I snatched up my angel blade and pushed it into her stomach, tears filling my eyes.
I looked at the number she gave me and one thing crossed my mind.
I have to find my father.
__________
I walked into the local diner, ready to go to bed. The problem is, I literally just woke up not even an hour ago.
"Hey Joshannah," Cara greeted. "The usual?"
"You got it," I said, taking a smile. No one knew what happened the night before.
I still hasn't hadn't built up the courage to call my dad. I'm afraid about how he'll react. He probably doesn't know about me. What if he doesn't want me?
I pulled the paper with his number and his name.
Sam Winchester.
That name sounds familiar. Maybe she had stayed in contact with him over the years. I have heard her arguing with someone over the phone and saying his name in an angered voice. Maybe that's my father.
Whoever this Sam Winchester guy is, he hadn't cared to even stop by for years. He probably isn't going to care.
Oh screw it.
I pulled my phone out and dialed the number.
Three rings later, "Hello?"
"Dad?"
A/N: Hope you enjoyed it because you probably won't have another chapter for another week.
I apologize for the length, but I hoped you liked it.
Also, I'm going to start calling you guys pistachios.
Adios pistachios!
-Hannah.
