It had been six years since Amanda entered the military. Her brother's would always tell her that if she died they'd kill her, which would make her laugh every time.

"Sure thing boys," she would say before leaving.

She was getting ready to leave again. Afghanistan is where she was going, and she was supposed to be gone for six months to a year. Not one of them was excited about that, but it's her job. This is what she's supposed to do.

They sat at a picnic table at the park they used always played at as little kids. Mary and John loved watching their kids play, and now it's like it was just yesterday.

"I remember," Mary laughed as she pressed the bottle of bear to her lips and took a sip. "When you three would come home from school and the first thing you wanted to do was come here."

"You never said no," Sam exclaimed as he took a bite from his peanut butter and banana sandwich.

"How the hell was I supposed to say no to you when I looked at your face- especially your face?!"

Everyone laughed. Once the laughing died down, Amanda said, "You know, since I'm going to be gone for a while, and I may not be get to say this again... I love you guys so much."

"Don't say that," John spoke up. "If we know you, you'll pull through without a scratch."

"I know I've done a good job so fat, but I may not come back this time. If I don't make it back, have a beer for me, no tears, even though that wish won't come true-"

"I don't cry," Dean exclaimed. "My face leaks."

"Keep telling yourself that," Mary retorted.

After another laugh, Amanda continued.

"On Friday night, sit on the visitors dude and cheer for the home team. Drive my car ninety miles an hour down Red Rock Road with Born to Run blasting on the radio. And find someone good enough for Alex who'll love her like I would have. Now, this is only if I don't make it back. If you guys are dicks to each other, I'll haunt your asses."

"Alright," they agreed. "But you'll make it back."

They sat at the airport saying their goodbyes to the little girl who wasn't so little anymore.

"Don't die," Sam told her.

"I'll try."

She gave her parents a quick hug before saying, "I love you."

The parents said their I love you's, and she stood in front of her oldest brother.

"Bye, Amanda," Dean said as he hugged her.

"Don't say goodbye," she told him. "It's too permanent."

"I love you so much," he told her.

"So do I," she joked.

-

"GET DOWN!"

The place was being overcrowded by the enemy, and Amanda had no way of escaping. A bullet in the leg and the exit blocked, she knew she was dead.

She pulled out a picture of her mother, father, brothers, and girlfriend. She was going to miss then so much.

Finally, with all the strength she had left, she got up, and started firing at the terrorists.

"See ya in hell," was the last thing she said before a bullet went through her heart.

There was a knock on the front door of the Winchester residence.
