I know this is early, but who cares. This one goes to @Smokingbody1. Hope you enjoy. Sorry if it isn't exactly what you want. In this imagine, you are seven, Sam is nine, and Dean is eleven.
"Scout, Scout," Your older brother Sam said as he jumped on the bed to wake you up. It was Christmas break and your dad stoll wasn't back yet.
Your nickname is Scout because Dean had to read To Kill A Mockingbird and you reminded him of Scout. The nickname stuck.
"What do you want?" You asked tiredly.
"It's Christmas," Sam exclaimed.
"Eve," you corrected. "Christmas Eve."
He gave you a "f*ck you" look as he said, "Really?"
"Yep," you replied, popping the p. Adter a slight pause, you asked, "Is dad back yet?"
"I dunno," he said snarkly. "Dean, Is dad back yet?"
"Not yet," he sighed. After noticing the saddening looks coming from his younger siblings, he then told you, "But he will be soon. He's always home for Christmas. He'll be home."
"That's what you said about Christmas Eve," you muttered under your breath as you tried to hide your disappointment.
He gave you a tired look and said, "I know I did, but he'll be home by tomorrow."
"Promise," Sam and you asked at the same time.
Dean slightly hesitated before saying, "Promise."
Your faces lit up at the sound of your dad possibly coming home.
"Just, get ready for school," Dean ordered with a laugh.
"It's winter break, silly. We don't have school," you retorted.
"Right," he replied softly. "Well, don't wake up the neighbours. It's seven in the morning."
You shushed Sam but continued to go crazy. I mean, why the hell not? It's Christmas Eve. Your dad's coming home tomorrow. Plus, what seven year old doesn't get excited to see their dad after a long period apart.
Dean watched you two get excited to see your dad, and tried to hide his sadness. He honestly didn't know if dad would be back tomorrow at all. At best, he'd make it back late tomorrow. He just hoped that he didn't have to break his promise. He hated breaking his younger sibling's hearts.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open-sleigh.
You woke up to the sound of Christmas music playing quietly. You opened your eyes to see Dean sitting at a desk across the room; he was writing something. What was he writing?
He stopped the music, walked over to the phone, and dialed a number. It was probably your dad. I mean, why wouldn't it be? It's not like there were any other numbers to call. There were no other contacts to call. He never gave you guys any.
"Hey, dad. I know that you're on a hunting trip, and you said you wouldn't be home for a few days, but could you please come home today?" Pause. "But dad." Pause. "It's Christmas. If not for me, then for Sammy and (Y/N). Please, dad." Pause. "Okay dad."
He put the phone back up, and turned to see you sitting up in bed staring at him.
"What," he asked you annoyed.
"Is daddy going to be home for Christmas?"
"He is, (Y/N)," Dean told you. "I promised."
"Is that who you were talking to?"
"What are you talking about?"
"On the phone. Where you talking to daddy," you asked annoyingly.
"Uh, yeah. He said he was going to try to be home tonight."
"So he's not going to be home tonight," you asked as tears welled up in your eyes. You were really looking forward to a family Christmas. Plus, you wanted to see your dad.
"I didn't say that," Dean told you as he wiped your tears away. "I said that he would try to be home by tonight. That doesn't necessarily mean that he won't be here. He promised that he would try. Don't give up yet."
"OK," you replied as you hugged your older brother. "Merry Christmas De."
"Merry Christmas Scout," he said as he hugged you back.

You and Sam watched the television as if it would run off somewhere if you looked away for a second. While the show was playing, the door to the motel room opened up.
"Daddy," you screamed in excitement as you ran to your dad.
He picked you and Sam up as he closed the door.
"You made it."
"Of course I did," he told you. "It's Christmas."
He put you two down and hugged Dean. Dean then said, "I don't break my promises."
He didn't break that promise.
Hope you guys have a good Christmas. Happy Holidays! Do... something. I don't know.
Question: What are you doing for the holidays?
