I wake up to the smell of food cooking. I get up in only my black low cut bra and black yoga shorts. I see Oliver cooking food. I smile and sneak up from behind him and hug him. He turns around and smiles. He pushes his lips against mine and I kiss back. "Question", I say pulling away.
"Ask away", Oliver says as he continues cooking.
"You decided to let yourself in while I was sleeping. And when I woke up surprise me with an already cooked breakfast", I ask.
"Pretty much", Oliver replies. I roll my eyes playfully and kiss his cheek. I walk to my bathroom and shut the door. I take a quick shower, brush my hair into its wavy curls, and do my natural makeup. I change into a white tank top, a white and blue striped mini skirt with a small blue bow on the side, and tan and silver sandals. I walk back into the kitchen part of my apartment (it's in the top part of The Talon. It used to be a storage room.) Oliver glances at me and I see his eyes widen. He turns towards me and places his hands on my waist. "How did I get so lucky", Oliver asks.
"What do you mean", I question.
"I mean I have wonderful friends, an amazing and beautiful girlfriend, and I have my own company. Plus I am Green Arrow so I protect the city", Oliver replies. I smile and place my lips on his.
"It's not luck. What got you here is you're an amazing guy", I say. Oliver smiles and sets a plate on the counter. I sit down and he sits next to me. We eat our breakfast and I stand up. I hear my phone go off so I walk over to and answer it. "Hello", I say.
"Hey its Lex. You busy", Lex asks.
"No. I just got done eating breakfast", I reply.
"Can you come by the mansion I have something to show you", Lex asks.
"Sure. I'll be over in a few", I say. I hang up and Oliver looks at me. "Lex wants me to come by. He said he had something to show me", I say.
"Okay. I have some work to do at Queen Industry. I'll see you later", Oliver says kissing my cheek.
"Bye", I mutter. He leaves and I grab my purse and put my phone in it. I grab my keys and leave. I drive to Lex's mansion and go inside. The doors open so I poke my head in. I see Lex coming downstairs and when he sees me he smiles. "You wanted me to come over", I say. Lex takes my hands and leads me to another room. He shows me a map or scroll of some sort. "What's this?"
"I don't know. My researchers found it in China", Lex replies.
"What were they doing in China", I ask.
"Just looking for something", Lex replies. I nod and look at it closely. I realize it has Kryptonian symbols on it. My eyes widen but I try to not to show Lex. "I was wondering if you knew what it is", Lex says.
"Why would I know what it means", I ask.
"I don't know. But I do know you're into things like that", Lex replies.
"Oh. Well you're outta luck. I don't know what it is", I sigh. Lex nods and we walk back into the main room. He hands me a glass of champagne and I take and sip. I set it down and hear Lex's doors open. I turn around to see Oliver stumbling in. He's drunk. "Oliver what the hell are you doing here", I whisper yell.
"Oh. Just coming to see my girlfriend", Oliver says glaring at Lex.
"Oliver I think you should go", I say.
"What?! Are you embarrassed by me or something", Oliver shouts.
"Just go", I say pointing at the door. Oliver glares at me before leaving. I sigh and look at Lex. "I'm sorry about him. He's been going through a tough time", I say. "I should go", I say. I leave and head back home. I go inside and shut the dot behind me. I see Oliver coming out of the darkness. He pushes me against the wall and pins my arms above my head. He pushes his lips against mine and I push him off me. "Get off me", I exclaim.
"What", Oliver asks.
"Just a few minutes ago you were drunk and you embarrassed me in front Le", I say.
"Why do you care so much about Lex", Oliver shouts.
"He's my friend. Besides I thought you had business to attend to at Queen Industries", I say placing my hands on my hips.
"I did but I finished early", Oliver says kissing me again.
"Stop?! Are you gonna explain why you were drunk earlier and sober now", I ask.
"Fine. I don't remember what happened one minute I was in the office the next I'm here. I don't remember going to Lex's mansion", Oliver admits. I pull him in a tight hug and he hugs back.
"I'm sorry", I whisper. Oliver kisses my head and I get ready for bed.
