Hunter woke in a start, realizing that Lexi wasn't beside him.
"Lex?" he called, popping out of the bed.
"Yeah? I'm in the bathroom!" she assured him.
"Okay," he said, climbing back under the warm covers.

"Do they know?" Lukas asked Lexi.
"I haven't told them," she replied.
His curly brown bangs fell into his deep blue eyes, so he brushed them away with his fingertips.
He leaned in to kiss her. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are, Alex?"
"About a million times, Luk." Lexi returned his kiss.
Lukas grinned.
