Then he put me down dusted off my shirt and said "Your a brave kid." I was shaking I can't believe he just let me off the hook like that. Do you think it is because of Johnny? But I pushed these thoughts aside and went to watch TV.

We all then watched TV, talked, and joked around. After a while I got tired of sitting on the floor and got up and sat on Johnny's lap. Then I fell asleep on Johnny's shoulder with my arms wrapped around his neck.

I slept for a while and when I woke up I tried to keep my eyes shut because I heard them talking about me. "Yeah her grades came in today." Darry said. "How were they?" Soda asked. "Well they were all A's except in math she had a C." Darry said. Now I was afraid to wake up knowing that Darry will kill me. "I'll tell her Darry." Pony said. That made me feel much better. Then I felt Johnny moving my hair out of my face. "She's so cute when she sleeps." Johnny whispered. But he said it loud enough for every one to hear. "Yeah." Darry said. Then Johnny kissed my forehead and Darry said "Hey watch it." And I knew what he meant. I guess he was afraid I would get another hickey. I then started to mumble and slowly open my eyes. I was pretty good at fake sleeping. I do it a lot. Especially when Darry tells me to do the dishes. I sat up and they all stared at me. "Um hello?" I said acting confused because I knew Pony was gonna tell me about my grades. "Well Jane. We wanted to talk to you." Pony said.

Johnny's POV

I knew Jane was awake I saw her open her eyes and then close them again. And I ment what I said. She was mega cute when she was asleep. And I loved the way she had her arms around my neck and her head on my chest. But my thoughts were broke by her saying " I know I'm working on extra credit right now. Wait how do you know my grades the semester doesn't end for 2 months?" "Well you know they send it half way threw." Darry said.

Jane's POV

I shook my head then looked at the clock. It was 7:23 and none of the gang was here just Johnny, Darry, Soda, Pony and I. I walked out the kitchen to get something to eat. "Did anyone else eat dinner yet?" They all said no so I started to make something to eat.
