Normally the drive to her office calmed Felicity, but today it was nerve wracking, since this was one of the biggest days of her career and if she blew it, she was definitely fired. Not even Kara would be able to justify keeping her around.

She was also very glad Kara had the foresight of having a town car sent for her, since there was no way she was in any mindset to drive to work herself today.

"Are you trying to transmit in morse code with your foot? Because if so, let me get out my phone and pull up a translator app." Avery said from next to her with a smile and Felicity realized that she'd been tapping her foot the entire ride since she'd been picked up.

"Sorry, just nervous." Felicity said.

"Don't be. Kara said it herself, she wouldn't have assigned you this presentation if she didn't think you could handle it. She wouldn't have given you this opportunity if she didn't think you can handle it. She doesn't give jobs to people who don't deserve them. She actually told me that not even Lena would be safe if she didn't deliver." Avery assured her.

"Thanks. And by the way, congrats on your doctorate." Felicity said, since Avery had recently gotten her Ph.d in multiple advanced fields.

"Thanks, this is actually my last assignment as Kara's assistant before I get promoted to one of the research teams, since this meeting was scheduled before I got my doctorate and there's no way to find a replacement as good as me on such short notice. I think Kara's going over the list of replacements while I'm here." Avery said as they arrived at the complex.

"Come on, let's get inside so I can make sure everything is set for the presentation." Felicity said and Avery nodded as they both made sure their badges were on display for security.

"I still can't believe how drastic the security measures are compared to the other facilities." Avery said, since they had to wait in line, single file to enter the building through the biometric gait analysis system that every employee was required to enter this part of the building.

"Considering what we keep here, you shouldn't be surprised. One of the reasons we have so many military contracts is because of the lengths we go to keep our projects secure. Especially this one." Felicity said as she moved to pass through the security system, followed by Avery before they headed up to her office.

A couple hours later found Felicity in the presentation hall, standing behind a curtain waiting for everyone to fill in.

"Well, how's it looking?" Felicity asked Avery when she walked back there.

"Full house, as expected. Alex is out there, along with several members of the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Defense, several senators and other government officials. Among others. Just like we expected." Avery said.

"Great. A whole bunch of people screw this up in front of." Felicity mumbled.

"Felicity, this is going to work. Every single genius in this building, plus Kara and Lena have checked this thing out, not to mention how many times you have. You got this. Just relax and treat it like every other pitch you've ever done. Especially since I think you're about to get your cue." Avery said, right as the announcer came on.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Felicity Smoak, Head of the Weapons Division at Argo Enterprises." the announcer said and Felicity took a deep breath before she walked out on stage to where the prototype was covered and she was greeted by applause.

"Thank you all for coming. On behalf of myself, Kara Danvers and everyone here at Argo Enterprises, I'd welcome you here to our presentation center. Now I know you're all very busy people, so let's not waste time with speeches and get right to good stuff. The reason you're all here today is to see the latest in defense technology. So, without any further delays." Felicity said as the lights dimmed and she felt more in her element now, much more impressive, her nerves gone.
