Chapter 13

*Stevie's POV*

Things were just getting a little heated when Ally and I both heard a loud knock on the door. Remembering that I had locked the door earlier, I knew tht someone probably wanted to use the bathroom.

I helped Ally off the counter and we both fixed ourselves. I walked over to the door and unlocked it. The door opened revealing Kimber on the other side.

"Shit." I almost yelled. "Sorry, you just scared me."

Kimber look at me with a smug expression too similar to Ally's. "It's okay. Uh, why did you lock the door?"

Well, ya see, I was making out with your little sister who just so happens to be my students and my girlfriend, so....

"I was talking with Ally. I needed to speak to her privately." That was a quick save. I mentally high-fived myself.

She gave me look that read 'mhm, sure you were' and proceeded into the bathroom. I knew that Kimber knew something was up. I just hope she wasn't one of those people who oppose it.

I walked back out into the waiting area when I heard Kimber's voice behind me, "Stevie, could you watch Hera for a second please? I need to have a word with Ally."

"Yeah, sure. No problem."

I looked over to the little 2 year old sittling quietly in the chair in fromt of me. I sat down next to her and she looed at me with curious eyes.

"Hello Hera! I'm Stevie!" I playfully said with a huge smile on my face. This got me the cutest little giggle ever in response.

I let her play with my car keys while I waited for Kimber and Ally to get out of the bathroom. The longer I waited the more anxious I became.

Finally, the bathroom door opened and out came Ally followed by Kimber. They both looked very upset and Ally looked as though she had just been crying. I assumed she was told the worst.

Ally came and sat next to me. I turned to face her and she immediately broke. She leaned her head on my shoulder and tightly wrapped her arm aroud me and sobbed her eyes out.

I looked over to Kimber to see if what I assumed was accurate. When we locked eyes, she just nodded and began to cry.

It felt like a train had hit me. I wish it wasn't true, but it was. Ally's mom had passed away. All I knew was that I was crying, Ally was crying. Everyone was crying and everyone was emotional.

I just needed to be here for Ally. That's it. I just need to be here for her.

After departing from the hospital, Kimber said she was gonna take Hera home and put her down for a nap. I said I would drive Ally home, to which Ally protested and said she wanted to come home wiht me. Can't exactly argue with that.

On the way home, Ally was completely silent. I asked her if she wanted to talk about it. She just shook her head and looked out the window.

I felt so bad for her. I couldn't imagine loosing my mom. Even though I only tlk to the woman once a year, I still don't want to even think about what my life would be like if I lost her.

Then, the horrifying though of possibly losing Ally ran through my mind and it almost brought tears to my eyes. That would be too much for me to handle.

When we pulled into the apartment parking lot, there was debris everywhere from the storm earlier. Ther was no use trying to park the car in a parking spot becasue the entirelot was littered with tree branches and garbage.

Thankfully thoough, the apartment building itself was unharmed. Just a broken window.

I turned the car off and placed my hand on Ally's shoulder, "Hey, we're here." I said.

Without a word, she unbuckled her seatbelt, opened the car door, and closed it. She wated for me to get out too.

Once I was out of the car I walked over to hwere Ally was waiting and stopped right in front of her. Her cheeks stained with tears, she looked so fragile.

Before I could think, Small arms were around my neck and their grip was getting tighter by the second. I wrapped my arms around her waist and clamed her down. When she pulled bac, I could see fresh tears threatening to spill out of her eyes.

Before they could fall I wiped them away in a single sweep. I took her hand in mine and we made our way up to my apartment.

It had been abpout 2 and a half hours since we had gotten back from the hospital and Ally was taking a nap on the couch.

I decided I would use this time to do some house work. I had accidentally left a window open and the winds came in and blew things around.

I was pretty busy cleaning that I didn't notice Ally had gotten up until I felt a small tug on my shirt. I looked up to see Ally standing there, sleep still in her eyes.

I stopped what I was doing and turned to face her. We stood there for a minute or so just staring at one another. The lack of closeess had finally gotten to her and she closed the space between us, our lips crashing into each other.

Neither oone of us moved from where we were. Neither of us moving our lips against the other's. Just, standing there. That bit of contact is all we needed.

I pulled away only to have Ally cup both of my cheeks and pull me back towards her. This time I felt every bit of love and lust spill out of her and into the kiss. I felt the need, the want, and the crave. I felt everyhting she felt and it made my head spin.

She pulled back and it gave me a chance to catch my breath.

"Wow. What has gotten into you?"

She looked at me for a second, almost offended that I was questioning her.

"Nothing, I just need you." She paused. "Like....I NEED you."

Then it clicked. I gave her a quick peck on the lips and turned around. I slowly made my way down the hall towards my bedroom. Along the way I left a trail of clothing.
