*OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

We walked through the deserted streets of London, smokey ash leaking from cars.

"Where do we start?" I asked nobody inperticular, I just wanted to know that at least one of us knew where we was going.

"Follow the signs out Oxford Street and just follow me from there." Jaymi said, giving me a reassuring nod.

I couldn't help but tear up as we passed the street that my house was in. The 5th house on the right was mine, now, I didn't even recognise it.

"It's going to be alright, you know." George whispered, gripping onto my hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

I looked at him, to see that his chocolate abyss of eyes were already on me. "I'm gonna keep you safe, even if it means putting myself in danger." He said.

"George, no. I don't want you risking your life for me, I won't let you." I replied, shaking my head. I couldn't let him do that, or any of the others, but without George, I wouldn't be alive.

"No, I will. I mean it." George sighed, looking down at me and forcing a small smile onto his lips.

Before I could reply, Josh stopped in the middle of the road, his neck craning up to look at a building.

We all stopped too, looking from Josh to the building he was staring at.

It was the Corpathia, *(I don't know if that's the real name but its something like it)* the building that they stayed in while they were in the X Factor.

"Wow..." JJ sighed, looking up at the destroyed building.

The natural colour of it was white, now it was burned ash- black. The top left corner of the building was completely bare, you could see the rooms, empty and dark.

"That's the room we stayed in." Josh gasped, pointing to the room that was half cealed and half visible.

I looked at them all, staring up sadly to the building that held so many life changing memories.

"All our friends, Rylan, Jahmane, Ella, James... All gone. But they were all here, we all were." Jaymi croaked, tears rolling down his cheeks.

JJ buried his head onto the crook of Jaymi's neck and Josh did the same on the other side, each hiding their tear - stained faces.

I pulled George in for a tight hug just as I saw his lip tremble. He buried his head into my chest, letting out his cries.

We were all stood there for a while, reminising over the lost friends and family that once walked these streets.

We only broke apart when we all heard a death grown from behind us.

6 Zombies sauntered towards us.

Shit.

"BOYS, RUN!" I yelled pulling George away from me but re-taking his hand and pulling him with me.

The boys quickly clicked onto what I was doing after they'd risked a look behind them.

"FUCK!" Josh yelled, sprinting up to me and George, JJ and Jaymi closely followed.

"WE NEED TO FIND SHELTER!" George yelled, his brown mop blowing in the wind as he ran.

"IN HERE!" JJ screamed, turning off into a shop. We all followed as he turned the door handle with ease.

We all ran into the shop, sprinting through to the back room as JJ slammed the door shut and locked it from the inside.

JJ joined us in the back room before Jaymi slammed that door shut to.

The small room was silent apart from our heavy breaths and pants. I slid my back down the wall, letting my head fall limply into my hands.

"Come here." George whispered, sitting down next to me and pulling me close to his chest. "Remember what I told you earlier." He said, kissing my cheek as I nuzzled my head into his chest.

We had only covered around 1 mile and we were already in hiding from those monsters. How the fuck were we gonna get to Manchester!?

This is going to be harder than I expected... And I expected it to be pretty damn hard.
