*GEORGE'S P.O.V*

We kept hitting the bars and yelling for help as 'Jacob' kept approaching. Despite what was happening, logic of what just happened kept running through my head.

How long did Jacob have the disease for before it kicked in?

When or how did it get passed on to him in the first place?

Will it affect me and Olivia?

"GEORGE!!" Olivia's screams snapped me out of it, my eyes shooting in her direction.

She was facing into the cell, her back to the bars. I reluctantly turned around to see 'Jacob' only a few steps away from us.

It was over. There was just no way out of this one.

I pushed Olivia into the very corner of the cell, were the wall met the bars and stood facing her, pressing my body close into hers and wrapping her head in my arms. Completely covering her from 'Jacob's' view and reach.

"George, I love you!" She cried, her voice shaking and muffled as I could feel her body shaking.

"I love you too, Olivia. I'll always love you." I cried, holding her as tight as I could.

'Jacob's' moans and lifeless groans neared, my breath quickened and grip tightened.

This was it.

I pressed my lips onto Olivia's head one last time before braising myself for impact.

BANG.

A gun shot made my heart skip a beat as the moans silenced.

I lifted my head up, letting go of Olivia apart from her hand, and turned around. Jacob's body lay cold and still on the floor, smoke from a bullet blast still rising in the air.

I looked, open mouthed, from Jacob to outside the cell.

It was Josh, standing there with the gun leaking smoke in his hand.

"JOSH!" Olivia yelled, reaching her hands through the bars. He came over and squeezed her hands, giving her a relieved smile.

"How did you get out?!" I asked, going over to the door as Jaymi came back with the keys.

"Shot the lock," JJ grinned.

"Did they not hear you?!" I gasped, patting Jaymi on the back as I walked out the crammy cell.

"Yep... We need to leave, quickly!" Josh snapped.

I nodded and turned back to Olivia "Come o-"

She was knelt down beside Jacob's cold body, gripping onto his lifeless hand.

I looked at JJ, then to Josh, they were looking confused at the scene. "Jacob." I gulped down the tears, "Her friend she thought was dead..."

I trailed off as I heard a stiff cry escape from her lips at my words. I was going to go forward but Jaymi held up his hand and stepped into the cell, kneeling beside Olivia.

*OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

I had just got him back, only to loose him again.

Why?

Just fucking why?

I had tight hold of his hand, even if he couldn't hold mine back, it still comforted me.

"Her friend she thought was dead," I heard George whisper from outside the cell. That just made matters worse, I thought he was dead... I didn't have any other theory to fall back on. But, it was some kind of miracle that he survived the whole time, but now, I know he's gone for good. No more chances.

I let an un-welcomed cry escape my lips as tears rolled down my cheeks.

I felt a soft hand on my shoulder as a presence bent down to my level. I turned to see Jaymi, looking at me with sad eyes whilst biting his lip.

"I'm sorry, I-..." I stuttered, shaking my head and wiping my red eyes. He just shook his head and grabbed my wrist.

"Don't apologise, Liv! Come here," He sighed, pulling me in for a hug. I buried my head into his chest as his strong arms lifted us both up so we stood straight.

He walked me out the cell, I didn't look back. I want to remember Jacob how he was, not what he was made to be.

I felt the grip on me change to the familiar feeling of George's body. I pulled away and shook my head.

"I'm sorry... W-we have to-to go." I sniffed, looking at them all.

George just sighed and nodded slowly, I forced a smile back, "At least I got to see him again."

George smiled, stroking my cheek with his thumb, not saying a word.

"Come on, before they come." Josh said, heading over to the door for us all to follow.

We all headed towards the exit, holding my breath as freedom felt as close as ever.

"Going somewhere?" ...
